College Football Predictions Week 8

Daddy's Hangout NCAA Football Predictions logo

Welcome to another exciting weekend of college football and this is probably the weakest schedule thus far. It’s hard to believe that it’s already week 8 of the college football season as we get closer to crunch time. Unfortunately, last week I took a few steps backwards as my record was 3-3, which dropped my overall record to 24-13. My winning percentage dipped from 67.7% down to 64.9%. This week I’ll be predicting only three games so I need to win them all as I continue to target my 70% winning percentage goal. Let’s Get Started!!!

Texas A&M logoOle Miss Rebels logoThe big game of the week is out of the SEC as the 15th ranked Texas A&M Aggies visit the 24th ranked Ole Miss Rebels. The Aggies are coming off their first loss of the season last week against the Crimson Tide and they’re looking to rebound. If the Aggies were to pull out this win, they still could win the SEC West if Alabama lost another game and they play LSU in their final game. The Rebels are coming off a heartbreaking loss last week against Memphis, but they still have a shot in the SEC West also. Can the Rebels rebound and beat this tough Aggie team? I’m going with the Rebels for the home win!!

Rebels Win 31-21

Clemson Tigers Paw logoUniversity of Miami U logoThis is a huge match-up in the ACC as the 6th ranked Clemson Tigers visit the Miami Hurricanes. The Tigers are hoping to continue winning so they could possibly be one of the four teams in the playoffs. Clemson goes on the road to face the Hurricanes and Wolfpack before their huge match-up against the Seminoles at home on Nov. 7th. The Miami Hurricanes rebounded nicely against the Hokies after their heartbreaking loss against their rival, Florida State. The Hurricanes are hoping to someway find their way to the ACC title game, but I don’t think they’ll get past Clemson.

Tigers Win 30-21

California Bears logoUCLA Bruins logoThis is the Thursday night game as the 20th ranked California Bears visiting the UCLA Bruins. The Bears are coming off a tough loss in Utah and they’re hoping to rebound with a win against the Bruins. With a win, California still has a chance to win the Pac-12 North division because they face Stanford later in the year. The UCLA Bruins were on top of the world about three weeks ago when they were ranked in the top 10. Fast forward to now, they’ve lost two games in a row and have dropped out of the top 25 and they’re desperate for this win. The Bruins will find some way to win this game!!

Bruins Win 31-30

My Top 5 Teams in the Country:
1) Ohio State Buckeyes
2) Baylor Bears
3) TCU Horned Frogs
4) LSU Tigers
5) Utah Utes
