NFL Predictions Week 8

Daddy's Hangout NFL Predictions logo

Welcome to Week 8 of the NFL season and hopefully last week will be the beginning of some good because my record was 5-0. My overall record jumps to 24-18, which brought my winning percentage up from 51.4% to 57.1%. This week I’ll be predicting four games and I’m hoping to continue my winning streak to get closer to my 70% winning percentage goal.

Miami Dolphins Helmet logoNew England Patriots logoThis is the Thursday night game between a couple of AFC East rivals as the Miami Dolphins visit the New England Patriots. Ever since the Dolphins fired Coach Philbin, Miami has looked like the team people projected to be with their tough defense and pretty good offense. The Dolphins have scored 82 points the last two games and they look to continue that trend against the undefeated Patriots. What can you say about the New England Patriots that hasn’t been and said, also add the play of Tom Brady, who’s playing like he’s going down as the best ever. I’m going with the Pats to win this one!!

Patriots Win 31-21

Green Bay Packers logoDenver BroncosThis is the Sunday night game between a couple of undefeated teams as the Green Bay Packers visit the Denver Broncos in what could be a Super Bowl preview. The Packers are coming off their bye week, which came at the right time because like other teams, they’re dealing with so many injuries on both sides of the ball. Can Rodgers will the Packers to the win against one of the best secondaries in the league? The Denver Broncos are also coming off a bye week and Peyton Manning definitely could use it because he hasn’t played like himself, but I believe the Broncos will win this one.

Broncos Win 23-21

Cincinnati Bengals helmet logoPittsburgh Steelers logoThis is a battle between two AFC North rivals as the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals visit the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals are one of five teams in the league that’s still undefeated and a win over the Steelers will create even more distance between them. Cincinnati has a three game lead over the Steelers and with a win, it would be damn near impossible for Pittsburgh to catch them. The Steelers should have Big Ben back for this game, which will help the offense out immensely, then guys like LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown will shine and give the Bengals there first loss.

Steelers Win 26-24

Indianapolis Colts logoCarolina Panthers logoThis is the Monday night game as the Indianapolis Colts visit the undefeated Carolina Panthers in a battle between former #1 overall picks. The Colts are in shambles and have lost a couple of games in a row, plus add that the three games they’ve won were for a combined 12 points. With the Broncos and Falcons being their next opponents, things could get ugly for the Colts real quick. The Carolina Panthers are undefeated because they have a shutdown defense and when they added Jared Allen, it just cemented their dominance. I think the Panthers will continue their winning ways.

Panthers Win 30-21
