NFL Predictions for Week 16 on December 27th- 28th

Daddy's Hangout NFL Predictions logoWelcome to Week 16 of the NFL season, which means that it’s the week before the final weekend of the regular season? With it being the holiday season I didn’t get the chance to have it posted on Thursday like I normally do. That means the Chargers/Raiders game has already been played and the Raiders won on the final home game for Charles Woodson, who’s retiring at the end of the season. The post will be posted on Sunday morning and that also mean that the Redskins took care of the Eagles to win the NFC East title. Last week, my record was 5-2 meaning my overall record jumps to 50-38 and my overall winning percentage goes from 55.6% to 56.8%. This week I’ll be predicting five games and hopefully I can creep closer to a 60% winning percentage. Let’s Get Started!!

New England Patriots helmet logoNew York Jets logo NFLWe start the day off with a good battle in the AFC East as the New England Patriots visit the New York Jets. The Patriots are still trying to fight off the Bengals and Broncos for the top seed in the playoffs. Now they have learned they will be without Danny Amendola, Patrick Chung and Devin McCourty for this key AFC match-up. Can the Patriots still pull off the win? The New York Jets are still trying to get into the playoffs, but right now they’re on the outside looking in because the Steelers and Chiefs own the tie-breaker over them both have 9-5 record also. I still think the Patriots will win!!

Patriots Win 24-23

Houston Texans Logo NFLTennessee Titans logoThis is a key match-up in the AFC North as the Houston Texans travel to face the Tennessee Titans with the Texans trying to get closer to wrapping up the division. The Texans have a one game lead over the Colts for the division and they will be without QB Brian Hoyer, who’s still dealing with a concussion. The Houston Texans will be depending on Brandon Weeden to lead them against the Titans. Tennessee will be without Marcus Mariota for the remaining two games because of an injured knee he suffered last week. Can Mettenberg lead the Titans to a huge upset? I’m going with the Texans to win!!

Texans Win 27-24

Cleveland Browns Helmet logoKansas City Chiefs logoThis is another key match-up in the AFC with playoff implications as the Cleveland Browns visit the Kansas City Chiefs. The Browns are seeing what they have going into 2016, especially with QB Johnny Manziel who has come under a lot of scrutiny because of his actions this year. I actually think the Browns could have a decent team next year, but that depends on the mind state of Manziel and the return of Josh Gordon. The Chiefs are probably the hottest team in the AFC after winning eight games in a row and only one game behind the Broncos for the division lead. I have the Chiefs winning big!!

Chiefs Win 34-14

Indianapolis Colts logo NFLMiami Dolphins Helmet logoOnce again, we have a game with playoff implications as the Indianapolis Colts visit the Miami Dolphins with the hopes of keeping their playoff hopes alive. The Colts are in a midst of a 3-game losing streak that has saw the Texans jump over them to first place. Will the Colts find a way to go to Miami and pick up the win to go into Week 17 with a chance to still make the playoffs? It’s safe to say that the Dolphins are having a very disappointing season with a 5-9 record. They have lost 4 out of their last 5 games, so the Dolphins are in a need to finish the season on a positive note. I’m going with the Dolphins!!

Dolphins Win 26-21

Pittsburgh Steelers logo NFLBaltimore Ravens Black LogoWe head to the tough AFC North as the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. The Steelers are still trying to make the playoffs as they’re tied with the Chiefs and Jets with 9-5 records. The Steelers are on a 3-game winning streak, also winning 5 out of 6 games coming into the game as they have one of the most potent offenses in all the NFL. The Ravens come into this game starting their 4th QB in the last 6 games since Joe Flacco went down. They have a 4-10 record and would love to spoil the playoff chances of their rival Steelers. I’m going with the Steelers!!

Steelers Win 34-17

Green Bay Packers logoArizona Cardinals logo NFLThis is a huge match-up in the NFC between the second and third seed with the 10-4 Green Bay Packers visiting the 12-2 Arizona Cardinals. The Packers have won three games in a row, which includes the Hail Mary to win the game in Detroit to start the winning streak. The Packers are still trying to fight off the Minnesota Vikings, who’s one game behind them and their opponent in the season finale. The Cardinals are in the midst of a 8-game winning streak and they have dominated most of those games during the streak. The Cardinals can clinch a first round bye and I believe they will.

Cardinals Win 38-28

Cincinnati Bengals helmet logoDenver Broncos logo NFLThis is the Monday Night game between the second and third seeds in the AFC as the Cincinnati Bengals visit the Denver Broncos. The Bengals will be without Andy Dalton again and they really need this win with the hopes of not only clinching a first round bye, but hold the Pittsburgh Steelers off to win the division. Can McCarron lead the Bengals to a win on Monday Night? On the other hand, the Broncos are going about things with a back-up also as Peyton Manning continue to heal from his foot injury. Will the HGH report about Manning affect the team? I’m going with the Broncos!!

Broncos Win 23-21
