It’s a New Year and that means it’s the perfect time to do good for others. I always say that the best deed is best left unknown. We all know that when we help someone else, it makes us feel good, so no need to tell anyone about our efforts, right? I wanted to share some awesome things you can do in 2016 to help out others.
1. Pay for Someone’s Coffee
This is a simple gesture that anyone can do. If you see someone who looks like they could use a pick me up in the form of caffeine, then pay for their coffee. Such a nice gesture and it’s a great way to be awesome in 2016.
2. Take Someone Dinner
If you know of a family who could use a meal brought to them, go for it in 2016. There is always someone who is having surgery or even who had a baby that could use an extra meal. It’s little things like this that make the world a much better place and it’ll help you be awesome in 2016.
3. Put Together a Homeless Kit
This is one of my favorite ideas for how to be awesome in 2016. If you’re a woman, you can put together purses full of goodies for any homeless women you see. You can also put together the same idea for any homeless guys, put together a goodie bag and hand it out when you can. Times are tough out there and some people just need a little extra help now and again.
4. Win Someone a Dream Home
What? You would totally be in the bomb in 2016 if you won someone a dream home. Now, how in the world can you win someone a dream home? Is there a hero in your community that you would love to honor? Is there someone you’d love to say “thank you” to? Maybe someone has touched your life and you’re looking for a way to repay them.
