Johnsonville Grillmaster

One of the best things about living in Atlanta is that we can grill year round. There’s not usually any snow on our ground, which means the perfect opportunity to grill. Not that I would allow snow to keep me from grilling anyways. I want to share some of my best tips for grilling season. No worries northerners, the snow will go away soon and you’ll be grilling again in no time. If you love to grill, how about trying to become a Johnsonville Grillmaster?

Choose One or the Other
When it comes to grilling, you have to choose a side. Will you choose gas or charcoal? You can’t have both, unless you have some super fancy grill. We have one of each grill, but I prefer to use gas because it’s so much easier. I’ve also gotten really good at grilling on our gas grill, opposed to our charcoal grill.

Keep Grilling Simple
If you are new to grilling, then keep it simple. Don’t go all crazy trying to grill super elaborate stuff when you have no experience grilling at all. I like to keep my grilling simple and then work my way up. Before you even start grilling for the evening, make sure you have everything in one spot too. There’s nothing more annoying than having to continuously go back for items that you forgot.

Clean Your Grill After Use
Yes, this is a huge tip that I abide by every time I grill. I always clean up my grill once I’m done. You know why? After it dries, it gets really gross and I like to avoid that grossness. Cleaning the grill after every use makes my life easier the next time I need to grill.

Use Only Johnsonville Sausage
This is the biggest tip ever, only use Johnsonville Sausage and other varieties for your grilling trust me. If you love Johnsonville as much as I do, maybe you can be the next Grillmaster for Johnsonville Sausage. Johnsonville is launching a nationwide search for a new Grillmaster to serve as the face and voice of the Big Taste Grill tour. They are looking for someone who is fun and energetic who is just as talented on camera as they are with grilling tongs. You will travel around the country to grill and serve hungry fans while raising money for local charities at events like the Kentucky Derby, NASCAR races and football games.
