This year has seemed to have flown by because it’s hard to imagine that Thanksgiving and then Christmas is right around the corner. Every year since our son wasn’t even one-years-old; we have always gone Black Friday shopping. This year we intended to do things big, especially since my dad passed earlier in the year, and he helped out a lot with my nieces and nephews. Furthermore, we wanted to go all out for my mother, plus add my three kids and other family members; we knew that a bigger vehicle is what we needed instead of making multiple trips, which is usually three or four times throughout the night. I had the privilege of getting the chance to review the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT S-AWC thanks to the Drive Shop in Atlanta, and my first impression was that it was a beautiful vehicle. Below are some of the things I loved about the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT S-AWC:
Roomy
Seeing that I wanted a vehicle to put a lot of items in it and this one was perfect. As you can see from the picture above that I laid the third row seats down and I was still to place so many toys and other stuff including a bike in the vehicle. If I were driving my car, let’s just say that half of this wouldn’t fit in my vehicle and this would have taken about two or three trips.
Looks
As I mentioned above, this is a really nice looking car and the paint job is on point because at first glance it looks black, but in the sunlight it looks purple with a mix of glitter. My kids, nieces and nephews were amazed by the color, so that immediately draws the younger kids. When you drive it during the night, this vehicle will turn heads because it’s a nice looking ride and the alloy wheels is the icing on the cake.
Gas Mileage
Before we headed out there were a full tank of gas and I didn’t have to fill up the entire night. During the night, we covered everywhere from Atlanta, Gwinnett, Gainesville, Dahlonega and Dawsonville, which is a lot of miles.
Technology
Being someone that loves music, the sound system was top-notched and the kids got a kick out me turning up the sounds. Not only the sounds drew me to the vehicle, but the auto-dimming rear-view mirror, LED headlights, auto on/off headlights, power-folding rearview mirrors, a power glass sunroof and rain-sensing windshield wipers are great features.
During the week I had the 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander GT; we got the chance to travel to see family, did some shopping and also got the chance to see the WWE Survivor Series at Philips Arena also. If you’re looking for a new family vehicle, this is definitely a nice investment to make and if I had only one gripe it would’ve been if you actually have seven passengers, the third row is a little tight.
