Finally, we have the final match-up of the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs as the Toronto Raptors host the Miami Heat. Both of these teams enter this series by finishing off a grueling series that went seven games with Toronto beating Indiana and Miami getting the best of Charlotte. The Raptors finally got that proverbial monkey off their back by advancing out of the first round after a great season. Can they make the next step and advance to the Eastern Conference finals? We have the Miami Heat, whose lead by veteran and future Hall-of-Famer Dwyane Wade with the hopes of making another championship run. The Heat was one of the favorites to overtake the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference, but with Chris Bosh being out; can they still make that run? Let’s see how things will turn out in this 2nd round series!!
This is the series I thought we would get, but I didn’t think that each series would go seven games. The Toronto Raptors have had a problem in recent years with living up to their high expectations created with successful season in recent years. The Raptors need more help from their supporting cast because they tend to lean on all-stars DeMarr Derozan and Kyle Lowrie. Can the Raptors supporting cast step up in this series and advance to the Eastern Conference finals? The Miami Heat looked like they were destined to sweep the Hornets after the first two games of the series, but the Hornets battled back and almost lost the series. Miami enjoyed contributions from damn near everyone in their rotation and that will be a positive heading into this series. This should be an excellent series and this could be another seven game series, but in the end I believe the Miami Heat will win this series and head to the Eastern Conference finals.
Miami Heat Win Series 4-2
