Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw with it taking place in Anaheim, CA and they had P. Diddy as the guest host of Monday Night Raw. Last week Monday Night Raw wasn’t as good as the previous weeks, but it was still pretty good. With Summerslam being less than two weeks away, let’s see how things turned out on Monday Night Raw. The big news in the wrestling world has to be the comments from the UFC’s Connor McGregor about WWE wrestlers.
Good
Opening Segment: This was a segment that featured Enzo, Big Cass, Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens. They basically cut promos on each other and it set up the match between Jericho & Enzo.
Enzo Amore vs. Chris Jericho: This wasn’t a bad match & the fans seemed to be in it, but Enzo has a long way to go if he were to be a singles competitor. After Owens got involved, Jericho hit the Codebreaker and that allowed Big Cass to get involved hitting Jericho with a Big Boot. Afterwards, Big Cass challenged them to a match at Summerslam and they accepted it.
Braun Strowman vs. Joreal Nelson: It seems like the fans are getting behind these beat downs by Strowman.
Seth Rollins Promo: Great promo by Rollins and I believe he’s probably the best thing going in the WWE.
Cesaro vs. Sheamus: This was an awesome match between these two. They literally beat the hell out of each other while pulling out all the stops and it was good to see Cesaro pick up the win, just wish they would go ahead and push him.
Randy Orton/Brock Lesnar Segment: This was a great segment detailing their time together over the last 14-15 years and I’m looking forward to their match at Summerslam.
Daniel Bryan/Mick Foley Segment: This was pretty good & I love the fact that Daniel Bryan says that Raw isn’t using Cesaro properly, which resulted in the title match between Rusev & Cesaro.
Bad
Titus O’Neil vs. Darren Young: Don’t know where none of this is going so I’ll be careful about saying anything bad about it.
Dudley Boyz vs. Neville & Sin Cara: I’m just disappointed how the Dudley Boyz is being used. I’ll admit that the team of Sin Cara & Neville has potential & was Bubba Ry mean mugging D-Von?
Rusev/Lana Promo: The promo went on a little too long, but things picked up when Roman Reigns showed up and Lana got her face put in the cake.
Sasha Banks vs. Dana Brooke: I’m questioning Dana Brooke being called up because she just can’t wrestle.
Luke Gallows vs. Kofi Kingston: Match was too quick!!
Rusev vs. Cesaro: I’m pissed that Cesaro isn’t holding any championship and this was used to add to the feud with Sheamus. One another note: how strong is Cesaro?
Overall Rating: 5.5/10- I’m hoping in the future they make Raw a two-hour show, but I highly doubt it. Hopefully with the cruiserweights being a part of Raw, maybe it’ll get better. The Dudley Boyz is being treated like jokes, Dana Brooke can’t wrestle and they’re doing Cesaro dirty.
