I have been compensated by Sundown Naturals® and Pollinate Media Group for this post as part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Sundown Naturals® but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #GoodnessGiveaway #sharethegoodness http://my-disclosur.es/OBstV
It’s hard to believe that next year I’ll be turning 40-years-old. For the most part, I still feel like a kid despite having three kids of my own with one being a senior in high school this year. Despite getting up there in age, you can find me playing basketball with people half my age and winning at the same time. The big issue with me now is that when those games are over, that’s when I feel my age because every part of my body is killing me, and it takes forever. Knowing that I have to take better care of my body, there are a few things I’ve started doing, and here they are.
Monitor Health with Fitbit
Seeing that I’m watching what I eat now, getting in some exercise and trying to get the proper rest needed, the Fit-bit helps me monitor everything. From the miles I walk, my calorie intake, how much water I’ve been drinking, how much I move and how much weight I’m losing. To help me in the process, the entire family has them, and we’re always challenging each other as a way to push one another to become healthier.
Starting Using My BowFlex
I’ll be honest, at first I bought my BowFlex as a spur of the moment decision and when I brought it home there wasn’t any room to put it. After cleaning out my garage about a month ago, it finally found a place big enough to keep. Ever since then, I use it about 4 times a week when I get home in the mornings and now I’m wishing I would’ve done this a year ago when I bought it.
Starting Taking Vitamins
In the past, I tried taking vitamins but I was never a fan of the pills and I stopped taking them. While shopping at Walmart I saw Sundown Naturals® have gummies now and picked up a bottle. I love that Walmart has vitamins for the entire family! For the past few months I’ve been taking the Active Adult Multivitamin with Co Q-10, but I discovered you can take a quiz by going here to match you up with the type of vitamin based on your answers, so be truthful!! After taking the quiz, it tells you about the vitamin they recommend, which for me it was the Fiber with Vitamin D3. It tells you about the vitamin, gives its turn-ons, Interests, Flavors and Ideal Mate. Since my quiz asks for me to take Fiber, here are few of the interests it tells me. I’m into healthy eating without worrying about complications, so I come packed with prebiotic inulin to help support healthy gastrointestinal function. And I bring along Vitamin D3 to help support healthy bones and immune systems – what a bonus! Afterwards, click on the I Want My Coupon label at the bottom, and then they’ll email you the $2 off coupon, pretty simple!! Sundown Naturals® are free of gluten, dairy, and artificial flavors◊.
Drinking Plenty of Water
One of my biggest issues was that I never drink water; actually I never liked the taste of water so I always drunk sodas all night at work. Since my job has an ice machine now, I’ve been taking at least a gallon of water to drink throughout the night. I’ve been taking my mug to work every night to fill it up with water and it’s actually not too bad now. Drinking water can make your skin look healthier, energize your muscles and balance your body fluids amongst other things.
