It’s hard to believe that this year is almost over already. Christmas is just a few days away and before you know it; we will be heading into the year 2017. With the new year being upon us, most likely we’ll be rolling out our New Year’s Resolutions. One of mine from last year and one that I’ve continued was to be more charitable and help others in need. My employer is starting this cool thing where they actually pay you to help within the community for a day. Some people don’t know how to go about how to get involved with helping others. It’s simple; Johnson & Johnson has introduced the Donate a Photo app where you can make a contribution by sharing a photo.
More about Johnson & Johnson Donate a Photo
First of all, the Donate a Photo app is free and Johnson & Johnson donates $1 to one of its trusted non-profit partners. All you have to do is share a photo to raise funds and awareness about numerous charities. Donate a Photo launched in 2013 and 1.75 million photos have been donated with almost 180,000 people have contributed. When you share pics, Donate a Photo makes it easier to share on social accounts like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. One photo can be donated every day and if you’re still not sure about this cause learn more by going here. One of their many charities has to be the Save the Children.
Save the Children
Johnson & Johnson has been a long-time partner of Save the Children. If you were to purchase a gift from the Save the Children “Gifts of Joy” catalogue, Johnson & Johnson will match your donations. It’s all part of their relationship with Save the Children as they have built a 3-year, $10 million commitment. Johnson & Johnson products have been offered through Save the Children for health and hygiene needs.
There are several charities you can be a part of through Johnson & Johnson Donate a Photo app. Recently, they helped the Americares Tennessee Wildfires Relief and they’re very active in countries like India and Africa. What are you waiting for? Go ahead and download the app so you can start making a difference by just uploading a photo.
Johnson & Johnson has curated a list of trusted causes, and you can donate a photo to one cause, once a day. Each cause will appear in the app until it reaches its goal, or the donation period ends. If the goal isn’t reached, the cause will still get a minimum donation.
