One of my favorite record labels of all-time is No Limit Records. During the late-90s, Master P and No Limit was releasing albums damn near every week. Guess what, I was buying every album they dropped also and remember CDs wasn’t cheap back then either. Master P, C-Murder, Mia X, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, Fiend, Mac and Soulja Slim were just a few of the artists I supported. Master P not only released great albums, but he was making movies and dropping great soundtracks also. 20 years ago today, Master P released the soundtrack to his movie I’m Bout It. This was the first movie Master P released and I remember having the VHS copy of it. The movie was good, but the soundtrack was great and I consider it a classic. Below is the track listing for the I’m Bout It Movie Soundtrack.

As I mentioned before, No Limit Records is one of my favorite record labels of all-time second only to Death Row. This soundtrack is one of my favorite No Limit releases as it featured everyone. Meal Ticket, What Cha Think, How Ya Do Dat, If I Could Change and Down & Dirty are some of my favorite tracks. Pushin Inside, Before I Die, Ride 4U, Murder Murder and Why They Wanna See Me Dead are my other top joints. If you’re a fan of hip hop and especially that down south sound add this to your collection. This movie and soundtrack came about from Master P’s smash hit Bout It, Bout It. You can purchase this soundtrack on iTunes for you to enjoy.
