First off, Happy Father’s Day to all the dads all around the world. I’ll be honest, my intentions were to lay in the bed and rest up the entire. It has been a long week with a lot of running around and my body is just tired. On top of that, we went out to dinner and a movie last night and I didn’t get in bed until 3 in the morning. First thing this morning, my kids asked me to run to Walmart for a few things they wanted. Of course, I did it, plus I needed more Golden Grahams cereal as someone finished them off while I wasn’t paying any attention. It’s crazy seeing how much my kids love Golden Grahams because this is something I loved growing up as a kid. Here’s from items I grabbed on this Father’s Day morning.
My kids love fruits, especially when the weather is on the hot side of things. You name it, they love it from watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries and bananas. We usually grabbed at least two or three a week, but today I just picked up some that’s freshly made.
In this hot Georgia weather, ice creams are a must in our household. As a matter of fact, we keep ice cream or popsicles in our fridge throughout the spring and summer. Since we live 5 minutes away from Walmart, me or my son have no problem running to the store for them.
We are a family that loves to snack from time-to-time and that means plenty of cookies. Honestly, we’re not picky when it comes to them if they contain chocolate chips. This morning both of my daughters said they wanted some, plus I was going to get them anyways lol.
The main reason for my run this morning is because someone ate the rest of the Golden Grahams.
