Monday Night Raw took place from Memphis at the FedEx Forum. Before moving on, prayers are being sent out the victims that were effected by Hurricane Harvey. We knew that Brock Lesnar will defend his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman. Earlier in the day, we found out that John Cena will battle Roman Reigns at the No Mercy PPV. Coming into this edition of Raw, we knew that Sasha Banks would defend the Women’s title against former champ, Alexa Bliss. Monday Night Raw started off with Miz and his entourage in the ring, but he was interrupted by Kurt Angle as he announced a battle royal to determine who’d face Miz next week for the Intercontinental title. John Cena and Roman Reigns had a contract signing and they both dropped bombs on each other during their promos. Let’s check out the top 10 moments from Monday Night Raw.
10- Mickie James tried to roll Emma up, but she dropped down and pinned James for the win.
9- Finn Balor helped Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson eliminate Big Show during the Battle Royal. Afterwards, it seems like they teased a Bullet Club reunion between the three.
8- Enzo Amore hit his finisher on Noam Dar to pick up the win.
7- Cesaro displayed his crazy strength by pressing Seth Rollins and hit a leg drop on him for an attempted pin.
6- Paul Heyman came out with Brock Lesnar and cut another really good promo.
5- Cesaro tried to interfere in the Ambrose/Sheamus match, but Rollins knocked him down from the apron. Rollins ran in the ring as the referee stopped Cesaro from entering the ring as Sheamus picked up Ambrose. Rollins nailed Sheamus with a flying knee and Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds on Sheamus to pick up the win.
4- Roman Reigns hit Luke Gallows with the Superman Punch and Cena picked Gallows up for the AA. Reigns hit a spear on Anderson as Cena hit the AA on Gallows and Reigns pinned Anderson.
3- Jason Jordan eliminated Elias and Jeff Hardy took out Jordan to win the Battle Royal.
2- John Cena and Roman Reigns cut some crazy promos on each other and things got pretty personal between the two.
1- Alexa Bliss hit the DDT on Sasha Banks to recapture the Women’s Championship. After the match, Nia Jax came down to the ring and hoisted Bliss on her shoulder to carry her around the ring. Jax then backdropped Bliss out of nowhere and held up the title.
