After Braun Strowman dominated on Monday Night Raw, SmackDown Live invaded Las Vegas. This edition of SmackDown Live was heavily promoted as Sin City SmackDown. The big news was that Mr. McMahon would be appearing to address Kevin Owens after Shane attacked him last week. We also knew that 3 championships would be on the line from Sin City. A.J. Styles put up his United States title against Tye Dillinger. New Day got another opportunity against the Usos for the SmackDown tag team championships. Last, but not least, Naomi got her rematch against Natalya for the SmackDown Women’s title. With SmackDown’s Hell in a Cell PPV around the corner, hopefully we’ll get more matches. Let’s see the top moments from the Sin City SmackDown.
10- Kevin Owens called out Mr. McMahon, but the music for Shane hit, but it’s Dolph Ziggler dressed and acting like Shane.
9- Kofi Kingston leaped from the top rope onto the Usos on the floor, but they caught him and hurled him into the barricade.
8- Natalya got in the faces of Carmella and James Ellsworth, but Naomi dove from the top rope onto Ellsworth & Carmella on the floor.
7- Jinder Mahal accompanied with the Singh Brothers cut a promo on Shinsuke Nakamura while mocking him.
6- Baron Corbin was met with a Phenomenal Forearm from Styles as he tried to interfere in the matchup. Dillinger almost rolled up Styles for the win, but after Styles kicked out they had a great sequence where Styles went for the Clash and eventually Dillinger hit the Tye Breaker for a nearfall.
5- Natalya rams Naomi face first into the ring post, tossed her back in the ring and made her tap with the Sharpshooter.
4- Styles locked in the Calf Crusher on Dillinger for the win.
3- Usos were going for their finishing maneuver, but Kofi pushed Jey off the top rope through the table on the outside. Jimmy looked on in disbelief and rushed Kofi, but was met with a kick which lead to New Day hitting the Midnight Hour to recapture the titles.
2- Baron Corbin attacked both A.J. Styles & Tye Dillinger after their match.
1- Vince & Kevin Owens cut promos on each other, but Owens attacked Mr. McMahon as officials came out to try and stop him. Stephanie came out in the aisle and got in Owens face as SmackDown went off the air.
