Throughout the early-to-mid 90s, there were a fair share of slow jams. There were groups like Silk, H-Town, SWV, En Vogue, Jodeci and Shai. With Valentine’s Day being next week, I’ve been listening to a lot of slow jams. For Valentine’s Day, check out a couple of old-school slow jam mixtapes from Tapemasters Inc. My Throwback Thursday is actually from Shai and it’s off their debut album, If I Ever Fall in Love. The track is called Baby I’m Yours, which is one of their standout tracks. The entire album is dope and check out my tribute to 90s R&B Volume 1 that I released a few years ago that features Shai. Check out the video below and peep the album under that.
