The kids have less than two weeks of school left, and summer is around the corner. In Georgia, we’re anticipating those hot and humid days where it seems like you’re suffocating. This summer I’ll officially have two kids finished with high school. My youngest will be entering her final year of middle school and we’re already planning our vacation and a couple of road trips. This year, we’re doing something different because we used to just wake up and take off for the road. My wife wants to plan a couple of road trips this year, so we must be more organized. There are two things we must have whenever we head out on the road. One is a nice playlist we put together on Spotify and the other is snacks, of course! Below are the six snacks we have chosen to bring along as we hit the roads.
Good Health Sriracha Veggie Straws
Non-GMO and gluten-free snackable straws crafted with added nutrients and vitamins from veggies called Extra Goodness! ™ and baked with Sriracha to create an enticing flavor in each straw. They are the perfect snack and my daughters absolutely love them.
Snikiddy Mac N’ Cheese Organic Baked Cheese Puffs
Tasty puffs inspired by kids’ favorite snacks, these delicious and ultra-cheesy snacks are USDA Certified Organic and nut-free, so all kids can enjoy. When my youngest first tried these, she immediately said we must find these at the store. When we’re buying snacks, we’ll have to make sure to get an extra bag of these.
Nutiva Organic O’Coconut
USDA Certified Organic and non-GMO snacks crafted from lightly sweetened coconut flakes for the perfect delicious treat anytime. Only 3 grams of sugar per snack! If you give me anything coconut flavored, you’ve got me. These organic coconut snacks hit the spot every time as they have become a favorite of mine.
Vegan, allergy-friendly protein bars made with plant-based ingredients and three types of ancient grains, in kid-pleasing flavors like Chocolate Marshmallow, Banana Caramel and more. These are great for road trips and they’re also good for your kids to take to school.
Country Archer Honey Chipotle Turkey Jerky
Packed with on-trend ingredients like cage-free turkey, organic honey and bold chipotle that are slowly marinated for a smoky, one-of-a-kind flavor with a whopping 29 grams of protein and only 200 calories per bag. One thing I love to snack on is jerky. This was my first time trying Turkey Jerky and this is amazing, plus it’s good for you.
bare Fuji & Reds Apple Chips
Enjoy apples in a crunchy new way, while you rest easy knowing this snack boasts an ingredient label so bare it’s hard to believe! Made solely from slices of real apples, these “chips” are simply baked for powerful crunch without any oil, preservatives, or added sugar. My wife and son have been snacking on these ever since we got them.
