E-Cigarettes vs. Vaporizers: What’s the Difference?

E-Cigarettes vs. Vaporizers: What's the Difference?

When you’re getting into vaping, it can be confusing to understand the difference between E-cigarettes and vaporizers. The vaping industry has evolved rapidly in the past few years, so it’s understandable that there’s some confusion. If you’re looking for a healthier and better-tasting option than traditional, combustible cigarettes, here is a guide to your options.

The Basics of E-Cigarettes

E-cigarettes, commonly called cig-a-likes, look and feel like a regular cigarette. You can get E-cigarettes with disposable or rechargeable batteries. They typically come with disposable liquid cartridges as well. Most E-cigarettes produce vapor automatically when you start inhaling, although some are only activated when you press the power button.

A Guide to Vaporizers

Vaporizers, commonly known as vape pens or vapes, are highly customizable and are designed to last longer. They are typically a little bigger than E-cigarettes. Each vaporizer comes with a rechargeable module with liquids you can switch out. You can customize a vaporizer with various liquids, cartridges, and colors. Where it’s legal, you can even get a vaporizer for weed. If you want a personalized experience, then vaping is definitely the way to go. The options are endless when it comes to customizing your vaporizer. You can buy empty vape pen cartridges, herbal parts, wax parts, oil parts, glass parts, mouthpieces, filters, screens, chargers, batteries, coils, and more.

The Bottom Line

Vaporizers and E-cigarettes are dominating the culture. These alternatives to cigarettes are getting more popular by the minute. Understanding the difference is crucial if you’re curious and want to have the best experience. If you’re considering getting your own vaporizer, the next step is to conduct some research. To be fair, they’re technically both vaporizers 🙂 and I don’t think anyone actually makes e-cigarettes that look like real cigarettes anymore. After all, the idea is that they’re supposed to help you quit smoking, so puffing on something that looks like a cigarette wouldn’t be a very good idea if that’s your goal.
