It’s crazy that my wife and I have been together since I was 19-years-old, she’s two years younger. We’ve been together for over 20 years and it seems like things are still trending in the right direction. Since we have two kids that have graduated high school, we spend more time together. We have our youngest daughter, who’s entering her final year of middle school this year. One thing we try to do at least once a month is go on a date together. There we can spend quality time talking about damn near everything that’s going on in our lives and the world around us. Weekend Getaway
We have thought about a couple of places that we’d like to go without the kids. The weather is still nice in the beginning of September, so we thought about hitting the beach. We visited the Golden Isles a couple of months ago and we really enjoyed ourselves. We also thought about going to the Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee since we haven’t been in a while. Unfortunately, we can’t make plans for a weekend getaway because our daughter is a cheerleader and has games on Saturday.
