Follow My Lead Joe Budden for Throwback Thursday

The whole hip hop world has been talking about Eminem’s new album. Throughout the album, Eminem dissed multiple people which included Machine Gun Kelly, Joe Budden and several others. Machine Gun Kelly responded with a dope track, but Joe Budden has stated he’s not responding on wax. For those that know me, they’ll tell you that I’m a huge fan of Joe Budden. Many people are still not familiar because he’s not a popular artist. When it comes to spitting, he’s one of the better ones you’ll find. Before being part of the media, Joe Budden beefed with some of the best rappers we’ve ever saw. 50 Cent, G-Unit, The Game, Jay-Z, Wu Tang Clan, Drake and I’m sure I’ve left out a few. Joe Budden will be my featured artist for Throwback Thursday. The problem I have is what track should I feature.

When I mention him, most people will refer to him as the guy that made Pump It Up. Pump It Up was a dope track off the album but Walk with Me is the Joe Budden that I’ve become a fan of. When he dropped his Mood Muzik series, that’s when I became a huge fan of his. When he formed the group Slaughterhouse with Royce 5’9”, Crooked I and Joell Ortiz that had so much potential. The first album they put out was an instant classic of nothing but bars and lyrics. My featured track features Joell Ortiz and it’s called Follow My Lead. The track is featured on his Mood Muzik 4, which was his final in the series. If you’re a fan of storytelling and lyrics, this is a dope track that you should peep.

What do you think about Joe Budden? What about the featured track? Are you familiar with his Mood Muzik series? Leave a comment below.
