In what many considered to be a test for the Georgia defense, they came away with the 43-29 win over Missouri. The QB for Missouri, Drew Lock is considered one of the top QBs in this upcoming draft was held without a passing TD. Jake Fromm tossed 3 TDs to go with an INT, but he was inefficient throughout the game. Of course, the Bulldogs running game is the key as Holyfield and Swift ran for a combined 161 yards. Special teams and the defense came up huge as they both scored. Moving forward, Georgia will need to improve their overall play and discipline if they’re going to make it back to the playoffs. Next week they head back home to face one of their rivals in the Tennessee Volunteers, who lost to Florida.
