My family loves to watch TV, but I’ll admit those cable bills seem to get higher and higher. As a matter of fact, they were getting so high my wife and I decided it was time to get rid of it all together. We all knew that streaming was the future, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. We tried a couple of streaming services at the time, but we weren’t too happy about everything they offered. My wife instantly said, she’s going back to regular TV, but after our contract was up, we were officially done!! Our son is someone with the background in technology, so we got him to study everything for us. Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player was the direction he recommended. It happened to be everything we needed and then some, so here’s the reasons we love it.
Everything All-In-One
Let’s face it, pretty much everyone nowadays has smart devices. With the Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player, you can stream your family photos from your device to your TV. Let me tell you, this eliminates having to send group photos of places we go to. All we do is stream the photos to the TV and that creates a great family night that’ll create memories. We can also stream movies, live TV and YouTube videos from our devices to the TV also.
Streaming from Your Phone to TV
If there’s one thing we love more than TV around here, it’s music. When you plug the Chromecast into the HDMI port to your and to power and stream your favorite entertainment right from your phone with just a tap. With this, we’re able to watch our favorite shows and stream our music playlists to listen to while cleaning. Despite streaming from your phone, you can still use it without interrupting anything.
Works Well with Streaming Apps
My app collection have me watching games, movies, videos and listening to music. With the Chromecast, you can stream from well over 2000 apps like Netflix, ESPN, YouTube, Hulu and many more. You can check here to see which apps that’s working with Chromecast.
Use Voice Instead of Typing
One of the coolest things about Chromecast is that it’s made by Google. With that, you don’t have to type in everything you’re looking for, just use your voice. Since we have Google Home, it works well with Chromecast to control your TV hands-free. When I’m wanting to watch wrestling, I’ll say Google, play Royal Rumble from WWE app in my bedroom.
Upgrade Without Spending A lot of Money
We all have TVs in our rooms and the two living rooms also. We also have smart devices in those rooms, so upgrading to the Google Chromecast Streaming Player doesn’t cost too much. With my kids loving to be able to stream their music onto the TV, they absolutely love it. Everyone can watch or listen to whatever they want in their own rooms.
No Lagging on the Streams
Of course, this depends on your wireless network and router. The Chromecast has a built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi connects to the Internet through your wireless home network. We stream a lot in our household and we never have our streams lag.
Are you still dealing with the hassles of cable or satellite TV? Are you wanting to make that change? Have you heard about Google Chromecast? If not, you should really think about switching and save money in the process.
