Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 7 of the NFL season and it’s hard to believe how fast this season is going. My record last week was 4-3, which lowered my record to 30-18. My winning percentage dipped down from 63.4 to 62.5%. The best game of the week had to be the New England Patriots outlasting the Kansas City Chiefs 43-40. The Dallas Cowboys beat the hell out of the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-7. While in Baltimore, the Ravens sacked Marcus Mariota a total of 11 times on their way to a 21-0 win. Todd Gurley proved why he deserved that huge contract and an MVP candidate by carrying the Rams to victory. I’m still hoping to edge closer to the 70% winning percentage as I’ll be predicting 10 games.

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions As always, we start things off with the Thursday night game. We have two teams who’s been struggling and really in need of a win. The Denver Broncos, losers of three straight head to Arizona to face the Cardinals. Denver could be 3-2, but the costly penalty on Emmanuel Sanders sealed their fate. Being the division with the Chargers and Chiefs, Denver will need to start winning some games. Case Keemun has been struggling, but can he get back on track against the Cardinals defense? Honestly, Arizona has looked like one of the worse teams in the league. With the trade deadline around the corner, we have heard rumors of Patrick Peterson might be on the trading block.’ If Arizona were to lose this prime time game, they whisper will get louder. Josh Rosen will need to play a damn near perfect game against the Broncos pass rush. I’m going with the Broncos to win this one on the road.

Denver Win 31-20

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We stay on the west coast but this time we’re heading to Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Chargers will host the Tennessee Titans. The Chargers will enjoy finally getting back home after their cross country trip. Philip Rivers is looking great and Melvin Gordon is playing out of this world. Los Angeles will need to keep winning to stay close to the Chiefs. Can the Chargers continue their winning ways against the tough Titans defense? Tennessee is coming off an embarrassing performance where the offensive line gave up 11 sacks to the Ravens. Marcus Mariota will have to play better since he’s been lackluster thus far. The Titans defense will have a tough task against this high powered offense of the Chargers. I’m rolling with the Chargers to come away with the win.

Los Angeles Win 26-16

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We have one of the better games of the week. The New England Patriots will travel to Chicago and Soldier Field to battle the Bears. New England is coming off an impressive offensive performance against the previously undefeated Chiefs. This week, they’ll face the tough defense of the Bears. Can the Patriots continue their momentum from a week ago for another tough win? Chicago is coming off a tough loss against the Miami Dolphins. The health of Khalil Mack will be the big question for the Bears. It seems like the offense for Chicago is improving every week. This will be a tough game for the Bears to see their progress and if they’re one of the better teams in the league. This will be a tough, physical game and I’m going with the Bears to win this one.

Chicago Win 23-20

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We have a battle of two teams that were after Kirk Cousins this offseason. The Minnesota Vikings will head to the Big City to face the New York Jets. Of course, Minnesota won the Cousins sweepstakes and New York went on to draft Sam Darnold. Minnesota is still looking to become that dominant team on defense that helped them to the conference championship game. Kirk Cousins has looked great and he had help from RB Latavious Murray. I’m still thinking that the Vikings have enough fire power on both sides to make a championship run. With the New York Jets, one week they look awful and the next they’re unstoppable. Sam Darnold has had help from his running backs to aid in his progress. New York have won two games in a row after losing the previous three. I’m going with the Vikings to win this one.

Minnesota Win 27-20

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We have a battle between two teams that’s expected to reach the playoffs in the NFC. The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Carolina Panthers in what should be a great game. Carolina is coming off a tough loss on the road against Washington. If Carolina is going to Philadelphia to upset the defending champs, they must establish the run. With the Panthers ranking in the top-5 in rushing in the league, this could open up their passing game. Last week, the Eagles finally looked like the defending champions as they played great on both sides of the ball. Carson Wentz continue to look healthier every week, but the Eagles will be without Jason Peters on that struggling line. The Eagles should take care of business and beat the Panthers.

Philadelphia Win 26-17

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We head to the AFC South and a battle between two of the three teams tied for first place. The Jacksonville Jaguars will host Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans. Houston is riding a three game winning streak after dropping their first three. If the Texans are going to continue to be successful, they must find a better way to protect their franchise QB. The defense for Houston has looked great the last two weeks, can they continue? Jacksonville is on a two-game losing streak and those games haven’t been close. After a 33-point defeat in Dallas against the Cowboys, they need some soul searching before they lose the season. Can they recover and beat their division rival? Jacksonville should rebound at home and defeat the Houston Texans.

Jacksonville Win 23-16

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We have a battle between two teams that’s leading their division. The New Orleans Saints will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens. New Orleans are currently on a 4-game winning streak after dropping their opener against Tampa Bay. The Saints is averaging 36 points a game, which ranks first in the NFL. On the other side of the ball, New Orleans is giving up 28 points a game. Can Drew Brees continue his record breaking season and beat the tough Ravens defense? Baltimore is coming off a 21-0 win over the Tennessee Titans. The defense of the Ravens put on a clinic last week as they sacked Marcus Mariota a total of 11 times. Can the Ravens slow down the offense of the Saints? I’m rolling with the Ravens to hold up against New Orleans.

Baltimore Win 31-30

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We head to the NFC East in a battle to determine who’ll be in first place. The Dallas Cowboys will head to Washington D.C. to face their old foe in the Redskins. Thus far this season, Dallas have alternated wins and losses. Last week, Dallas destroyed the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-7 and it looks like the Cowboys are ready to make some noise. The big issue with Dallas is that they look like a different team every week. Can they finally win two games in a row? Just like Dallas, the Redskins have alternated wins and losses in their first five games. Washington is coming off a great win over the Carolina Panthers as their defense has looked amazing. This should be a close game between these two and I’m going with the Redskins to win and maintain first place.

Washington Win 24-23

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We have the Sunday night game between two teams in first place in their respected divisions. The Cincinnati Bengals will travel to Arrowhead Stadium to battle the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals are coming off a heartbreaking loss to their rival, Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Despite the loss, Cincinnati has looked great thus far and their offense is averaging almost 30 points a game. Andy Dalton and A.J. Green seem to be on the same page, which makes this offense damn near unstoppable. With Kansas City, they loss their first game last week in New England, but they still put up 40 points. Patrick Mahomes continue to look like an MVP candidate. Tyreek Hill is probably the fastest man in the league and the offense has endless weapons. Can they rebound from their defeat? I’m saying they can and will.

Kansas City Win 42-28

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 7 NFL Predictions We have the final game of the week and of course, it’s the Monday Night game. The New York Giants will travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons. New York is currently on a 3-game losing streak as they have given up more than 30 points in each of those games. The future of Eli Manning is in the air as they future Hall-Of-Famer has been on a decline the past few seasons. If the Giants have a chance in this game, they must get the ball in the hands of Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham Jr. Atlanta finally ended their 3-game losing streak last week with a win over Tampa Bay. The Falcons learned this week that DeVonta Freeman has been placed on IR with a groin injury. Can Matt Ryan continue playing at an elevated level and lead the Falcons to a 2-game winning streak? This will be a tough game, but Atlanta pulls it out.

Atlanta Win 34-27
