Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 13 of the NFL season and we begin the final quarter of the season. We’re coming off another great weekend of football in both college and the pros. The New Orleans Saints continue to look like the best team in the league after beating Atlanta on Thanksgiving. The Dallas Cowboys took over the NFC East after beating the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving also. On Monday Night Football, the Houston Texans made it eight wins in a row after beating the Tennessee Titans. Speaking of hot teams, the Indianapolis Colts made it five consecutive wins after edging out the Miami Dolphins. My record was 5-1 last week, which raises my record to 55-34. My overall winning percentage jumped from 60.2 to 61.8%. With teams fighting for playoff spots, positioning and division titles, I’ll be predicting another five games. Let’s Get Started!

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions The Thursday night game is a treat and a possible playoff match-up. The New Orleans Saints will head to Dallas to face the Cowboys. As we all know, New Orleans has one of the better offenses in the league and Drew Brees should win the MVP award. Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas are enjoying historic seasons themselves. The Saints defense isn’t getting all the shine, but they’ve been great and even have the best run defense. Can they contain Ezekiel Elliott? The Dallas Cowboys have won three games in a row and have overtaken the lead in the NFC East. Ezekiel Elliott is looking great, Amari Cooper is looking like a steal and the defense is top-notched. Will the Cowboys end the Saints winning streak and extend their division lead? This will be a very close game, but New Orleans will barely escape with a win.

New Orleans Win 30-27

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions We head to Houston for this game as the Cleveland Browns battle the Texans. The Cleveland Browns have won two games in a row after dropping their previous four. Cleveland is playing great football ever since they fired their coach, Hue Jackson. Baker Mayfield has looked great and Nick Chubb has been playing lights out. The Browns defense is starting to come around as they held the high-powered offense of the Falcons to 16 points. Can the Browns upset the Texans? Houston is coming off an impressive win over division rival Tennessee on Monday night. The Texans are in the running for a possible first-round bye with the way they’re playing. With the defense being healthy, they’ve been dominate at times. It seems like they’ve been playing for owner, Mr. McNair who passed away last week. I’m banking on the Texans to make it nine straight wins.

Houston Win 31-20

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions We have a battle between two teams that will be playoff bound. The Minnesota Vikings will travel to Foxboro to face the New England Patriots. Minnesota would be playoff bound if things were to start today. The Vikings are coming off a huge win over division rival Green Bay. Minnesota has been inconsistent throughout the season as they’ve alternated wins and losses the last four weeks. Can the Vikings head to Foxboro and upset he Patriots? After an embarrassing loss against Tennessee, New England looked like themselves and Gronk was a big part of that. If Gronk can stay healthy, the Patriots are still Super Bowl contenders as the defense is looking better. If Sony Michel and James White can continue to run the ball, they should be able to control that Vikings offense and win the game.

New England Win 34-24

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions We have a great game for everyone on Sunday night. The Los Angeles Chargers will hit the road and head to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers. Los Angeles rebounded nicely from their one-point loss to Denver with a blowout win over Arizona. Philip Rivers was damn near perfect, but the Chargers walked away with a scare. Melvin Gordon went down, and it has been confirmed he’s dealing with an MCL sprain. Can the Chargers pick up the road win over Pittsburgh? Last week, Denver beat the Steelers to end their 6-game winning streak. The Steelers are still looked at as one of the favorites to come out of the AFC. Can the offense get back on track and start another win streak? I’m going with Pittsburgh to win a close one at home.

Pittsburgh Win 27-26

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Week 13 NFL Predictions The final game of the week is of course the Monday Night game. We have the Washington Redskins traveling to Philadelphia to face the Eagles. Both of these teams are desperately looking for a win as the NFC East is still wide open. Coming into this game, the Redskins are tied with the Cowboys atop of the division. With Dallas winning their Thanksgiving Day game, they own the tie breaker. Washington can at least still have a share of the lead with a win over Philly. The Eagles have an upward climb if they’re going to win the division. After this game, three of their last four games will be on the road and they’re still a game out of first place. Philadelphia is still hurting in the secondary and the offense is still struggling. As an Eagles fan, this team isn’t very good, but they have a lot of heart. With this being a Monday night game against a division rival, I’m thinking they’ll find a way to win this one.

Philadelphia Win 24-23
