Daddy’s Hangout 2019 All State Sugar Bowl Prediction

We have the Sugar Bowl as the 5th ranked Georgia Bulldogs battle the 15th ranked, Texas Longhorns. Coming into this game, many people still believed the Bulldogs should be in the playoffs despite their two losses. In the SEC Championship Game, Georgia pretty much dominated Alabama. The Bulldogs defense shutdown Tua Tagovailoa and the Tide offense. After Tua went down with a high ankle sprain, Jalen Hurts entered the game and lead Alabama to victory.Alabama is playing in the semifinals, which is the Cotton Bowl. Is Georgia one of the best four teams in the country? Before that game I thought only Georgia and Clemson are built to beat them, so I say yes. The challenge for Georgia is being motivated in this game against Texas. Will the Bulldogs front four be able to put pressure on whoever is the QB for the Longhorns? Can the secondary contain and handle the physical WR core of Texas? Is it possible for Georgia to have a letdown game?

On the other side, the Texas Longhorns program is trending in the right direction under Tom Herman. In the rematch against rival Oklahoma in the Big-12 Championship game, they fell short against Heisman winner, Kyler Murray and the Sooners. No matter what happens in this game, Texas will have to look at this season as a success. Either way, Texas is headed in the right direction with great recruits coming in. Many didn’t see the Longhorns playing in a major bowl this soon. Can the Longhorns defense withstand running game of the Bulldogs? Will the offense be efficient against one of the best defenses in the country? These two teams could potentially meet again next year in the playoffs. As far as this year goes, Georgia is the more talented team and should have no problem beating the Longhorns.

Georgia Win 38-24

How do you see this game playing out? Will Georgia avoid a letdown after missing the playoffs? Will the story about Justin Fields transferring distract the team? Can the Longhorns head into 2019 with a major win over one of the best teams in the country? Leave some feedback below about the Sugar Bowl game.
