We have the 11th ranked LSU Tigers taking on the undefeated 8th UCF Golden Knights. Despite having the longest winning streak in the nation at 25, they’re still on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. The Golden Knights have enjoyed their second consecutive undefeated season. After finishing undefeated last year, they beat the Auburn Tigers in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. Once again, the Golden Knights are trying to prove that they’re an elite program. Without their leader McKenzie Milton at QB, who had a gruesome knee injury, can the Golden Knights be effective against the Tigers defense?
LSU had a great run this season, which included thrashing the Georgia Bulldogs at home. Unfortunately, they ran into their rival from Tuscaloosa in the Crimson Tide. The offense of the Tigers could run the ball against the UCF defense because of their stout line. The physical defense of LSU will be tested because UCF like to spread the field out. With the Golden Knights spreading the field out, it’ll be hard to amount any offense against the fast Tigers defense. Can LSU finally end the 25-game winning streak of the Golden Knights? Will UCF upset another top team from the SEC? I’m going to go with Tigers to beat the Golden Knights.
