The Blazers lead by C.J. McCollum beat the Nuggets in Game 7. The Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers went down to the wire in their Game 7. With the game tied at 90, Kawhi Leonard hit a buzzer beater to finish off the Sixers. Kawhi took 39 shots to finish with 41 points and 8 rebounds. Serge Ibaka came up huge with 17 points and 8 rebounds off the bench. Pascal Siakim finished with 11 points and Kyle Lowry had 10 points, 6 boards and 6 assists. If the Raptors are going to contend with the Bucks, Kawhi needs more help. Marc Gasol played great defense on Embiid, but he’ll need more than 7 points. Danny Green will need to bring his A-game had only 2 points. The series with the Bucks will start on Wednesday night in Milwaukee.
The starting five of the Sixers all finished in double figures. Joel Embiid lead everyone with 21 points and 11 rebounds in 45 minutes. The bench for the 76ers scored only 8 points. With the 76ers exiting the playoffs in the semifinals for the second consecutive year, what the future look like? Philadelphia brought in Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris to make a championship run. Both of them will be free agents, will they sign back with the 76ers to make another run? Will Coach Brett Brown be the coach of the 76ers next season? During another offseason, will Ben Simmons work on his jump shot?
