2019 NBA Eastern Conference Finals Predictions

With the Western Conference Finals underway, it’s time to turn our attention to the Eastern Conference Finals. On Tuesday, Golden State dominated Portland in Game 1. Also, on Tuesday night, the New Orleans Pelicans earned the #1 draft pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Now onto the Eastern Conference Finals where the Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Toronto Raptors. Milwaukee took care of the Celtics in five games. The Bucks won four consecutive games after Boston took Game 1 in Milwaukee. Toronto reached this point after surviving an epic seven game series against the 76ers. As we all know, Toronto won Game 7 on a buzzer beater by Kawhi Leonard for the ages. In this series, we have a battle between two of the best two-way players in the league. Giannis Antetokounmpo versus Kawhi Leonard will be the headline grabber. In the end, who will be the new King of the East and advance to the NBA Finals?

Milwaukee have been the best team in the league all season and the only one to finish with at least 60 wins. Giannis Antetokounmpo is considered to be the league MVP and the Bucks as a whole got a nice squad. Khris Middleton is as good a shooter you’ll find in the league. Eric Bledsoe has taken his game to another level ever since being traded to the Bucks. Milwaukee could have Malcolm Brogden back at full strength for this series. Brook Lopez has been resurrected in Milwaukee and is a deep threat. Coach Bud is one of the better coaches in the league. With the Greek Freak being heralded as the future of the league, can he lead the Bucks to the NBA Finals? Will the Bucks use the homecourt advantage to advance to the NBA Finals?

When it comes to Toronto, they’re still trying to make their first NBA Finals. Kawhi Leonard have done everything in his power to carry the Raptors. After averaging over 35 points a game in the semifinal series against Philadelphia. Kyle Lowry will have to continue his outstanding playoffs against the Bucks. In Game 7, Lowry was hitting key shots, grabbing boards, dishing out assists and playing good defense. Pascal Siakim will need to find his rhythm if the Raptors are going to have a chance. The bench for the Raptors will have to come up huge and Serge Ibaka will need to continue his stellar play. In a battle between the top seeds in the East, this should be a great series. Milwaukee have more scorers and they’re underrated on the defensive end. The Bucks will use their homecourt advantage and advance to the NBA Finals by beating the Raptors in seven games.
