Many people will say that the Purple Tape or Liquid Swords is the best solo project from the Wu-Tang Clan. On the other hand, there are many that think the Ironman album from Ghostface is that project. For me, I’ll say that Ghostface have the best discography by any member of the Wu-Tang Clan. The solo, debut album from Ghostface was on my playlist this week. Actually, this week the Wu-Tang Clan have been a great topic at the barbershop. Many people didn’t know too much about them until the series on Hulu. I’ve been a fan since high school and sported a lot of the Wu Wear. As far as Throwback Thursday, we’re going with the classic joint Ghostface has with Mary J. Blige. All I Got Is You is the name of it and the track is an all-time classic.
The track shows the storytelling skills that he is known for. The platinum selling Ironman man should be in your collection if you’re a hip hop head. The album features many members and affiliates of the Wu Tang. Either way, check out All I Got is You for Throwback Thursday.
Where’s my Wu-Tang Clan fans? Where are my Ghostface fans? Do you remember his Ironman project? How about the featured track? Leave some feedback below about anything related to Ghostface, Wu-Tang or the featured track. While you’re at it, check out this Ironman above this.
