Ludacris Red Light District Released 15 Years Ago

Ludacris is one of the more underrated rappers to ever touch the mic. Seeing he’s always been someone that had fun with his music, many people don’t take him seriously. With his crazy delivery and dope punchlines, Ludacris is one of the best to ever to do it. Rumor has it, that Ludacris is working on his 10th solo album and it could come out in 2020. 15 years ago, Ludacris released fifth studio album, Red Light District. DJ Quik, Trick Daddy, Nate Dogg, Lil Kim, DMX, Doug E. Fresh, Nas and a few others appeared on Red Light District. Red Light District debuted at the top spot and eventually sold over two million copies. This marked the fourth consecutive album to go at least double platinum. Get Back was the first single from the album and it was a typical, fun Ludacris track.

Ludacris released like five singles off the Red Light District album. Out of the five, Pimpin All Over the World and Number One Spot were my favorites. Child of the Night, Spur of the Moment, Large Amounts, Two Miles an Hour and Hopeless are my other top tracks. Virgo features Doug E. Fresh and Nas originally appeared on the Street Disciple joint from Nas. Red Light District isn’t a bad album as I’ll go on to say that it’s an above average one. I’d put this album as my 5th favorite solo project from Ludacris. As always, check out the track listing below and it’s followed by the stream links.
