One of my favorite things to do when I finally got a job was collect shoes. Trust me, it wasn’t relegated to Jordan’s or anything related to Nike. My parents used to get mad because I’d clean the sides of them with warm water, toothbrush and Dawn detergent. Now that I’m much older, that’s something I’ve passed down to my kids.
