Bell Biv DeVoe Poison for Throwback Thursday

Bell Biv DeVoe Poison for Throwback Thursday

Once again, we have arrived at another Thursday, which makes closer to the weekend. My playlist this week consisted of a couple personal mixtapes. Master P’s Only God Can Judge Me, War & Peace from Ice Cube, and the Bell Biv DeVoe album. For this week’s featured Throwback Thursday track, we’re going back 30 years. On March 20th, Bell Biv DeVoe celebrated the 30th anniversary of their Poison album. The Poison album went on to sell over 4 million records. This solidified the New Edition family as arguably the greatest R&B group ever. New Edition, Bell Biv DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, and Ralph Tresvant put out classic albums. For this one, we’re sticking with Bell Biv DeVoe.

This album featured three classic tracks in my opinion. Poison, Do Me and When Will I See You Smile Again are all classics. The title track is the featured song and Poison is a classic and has aged very well. To be honest, people still use the phrase Never Trust Big Butt and a Pretty Smile. This is an incredible record for an amazing album. Check out the video above and the track listing and stream links below for the Poison album.
