Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL Predictions

Welcome to 2020 NFL Week 3 NFL season after another exciting week of football. My record was 9-2 last week, which boosted my overall mark to 17-10. My winning percentage jumped from 50 to 63%. The only losses were the Vikings losing to the Indianapolis Colts, which many are wondering, what’s up with Minnesota? The other was the Monday Night game where the Las Vegas Raiders defeated the New Orleans Saints. It was the first game ever at the new Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders and they looked amazing. This week, I’ll be predicting a total of 7 games with the hopes of continuing my winning ways. Let’s get started!

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsAs always, we kick things off with the Thursday night game. We head to the state of Florida as the Miami Dolphins head north to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Miami has started the season 0-2, but they were the underdog in both games. They played division rivals, New England and Buffalo hard but fell in the end. I’m still liking the direction the Dolphins are headed and this should be a good one. Jacksonville has surprised many, including myself as they’ve looked great so far. The Jaguars have traded away so many of their key pieces in the last year. My feeling coming into this year was that they may have a shot at Trevor Lawrence. Gardner Minshew has been fantastic and the offense has also. I’m taking the Dolphins to come away with their first win of the season. Miami Win 34-31

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsWe head up north for a battle between two 2-0 teams. The Los Angeles Rams travel to Buffalo to battle the Bills. The Rams have looked really impressive in their first two games. The offense confused the Cowboys and Eagles throughout the game. Jared Goff has been efficient and has spread the ball to everyone. On defense, Aaron Donald is as good as there ever been on the defensive line. Buffalo’s offense has also been very impressive. Josh Allen has been great and the addition of Stefon Diggs is paying off. How will Allen and the Bills offense counter the pressure from Donald? Can the Bills defense figure out all those moving parts of the Rams’ offense? This should be one of the better games this week. I’m picking the home team to walk away with the W. Buffalo Win 24-17

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsWe head to Cleveland as the Browns host the Washington Football Team. Both teams enter this game with a record of 1-1. Washington is tied with Dallas atop of the NFC East. Cleveland is a game behind the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. Washington was dismantled by the Arizona Cardinals this past weekend. Can Washington rebound and overcome their loss to Arizona? Cleveland is coming off a hard fought win against Cincinnati last Thursday. Baker Mayfield looked better, but the defense couldn’t slow down Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Washington’s offense will have a tough time against the defensive line lead by Myles Garrett. Baker will need to get the ball out of his hands quickly against the Washington defense. I’m picking Cleveland to pick up their second win of the season. Cleveland Win 23-17

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsWe head to New England as the Patriots host the Las Vegas Raiders in a huge matchup. The Patriots are coming off a tough loss in Seattle last Sunday night. Cam Newton played great as they almost won, but was stopped at the 3-yard line as time expired. The Raiders surprised many by beat New Orleans on Monday night. New England ran up against my personal favorite to win MVP this year in Russell Wilson. Derek Carr has been playing great and he’s very underrated in my opinion. New England is already a game behind Buffalo and they’re looking to keep track. The Raiders are trying to stay on track with Kansas City as they both are 2-0. This will be a great game between these two, but I can’t picture New England dropping consecutive games. New England Win 30-20

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsWe have a potential playoff matchup early in the season in Seattle. The Dallas Cowboys travel to the Pacific Northwest to battle the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas almost came into this game with a 0-2 record. The miraculous comeback they made against the Atlanta Falcons was one for the ages. The Cowboys offense lost 3 fumbles in the first quarter of that game. We know that’s not going to happen again. Seattle beat that same Falcons team in the opening game, but they did it soundly. Russell Wilson is off to an amazing start and his accuracy is as good as ever. The defense has been struggling and they’ll be even more with loss of Bruce Irvin. Dallas is still dealing with injuries to their offensive line. In the end, I’m picking Russell Wilson to lead Seattle to another win. Seattle Win 26-21

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsWe have the Sunday night game between two potential Super Bowl teams from the NFC. The Green Bay Packers travel to New Orleans to battle the Saints. The Packers have looked great in their two wins thus this season. They have scored at least 42 points in both of those games. DaVante Adams exited the last game with a hamstring injury. On the other side, Michael Thomas didn’t play on Monday night as he’s dealing with a high ankle sprain. We will have a battle between two of the greatest quarterback ever in Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. The Saints are going into this game knowing they can’t leave 1-2. The Packers are thinking they can put some distance between them and the Saints. This should be a good one and I have the Saints winning. New Orleans Win 34-27

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsDaddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 3 NFL PredictionsThe Monday night game is one of the most anticipated games of the season. We have the Super Bowl champion, Kansas City Chiefs traveling to Baltimore to meet the Ravens. The battle between Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson puts the last two league MVPs against each other. Many believe this could be a preview of the AFC Championship game. Baltimore has run over Cleveland and Houston in consecutive weeks. Kansas City breezed by Houston, but barely escaped Los Angeles with a win over the Chargers. The Chiefs and Ravens both have great defenses. We don’t need to mention the offenses as both are at the top of their game. This game could come down to the final possession with both of these quarterbacks. I’m looking for Baltimore to leave with the win. Baltimore Win 38-27
