Can you believe it’s been a year since the restaurant industry shut down and thousands were out of work? Restaurant workers were down but not out. To honor the perseverance and resilience of the restaurant community, Mellow Mushroom will join in The Great American Takeout, to support restaurant employees in need on March 24 and offer a 10 % off all Online, pick up and Take Out orders. The community can do their part by posting a photo of a meal to #TheGreatAmericanTakeOut, and $10 will be donated to CORE (Children of Restaurant Employees) by the event’s sponsors, which includes The Coca-Cola Co. The goal for the day is to raise $500,000, and Mellow Mushroom will do its part by a one-day 10% off all OLO Online, pick up and take out orders.

This is an amazing cause and we all should do our part in supporting it. I’ll be headed to Mellow Mushroom to support the cause, but I’m confused on what I’m ordering. Will it be some of their newly added wings or the Havana Hoagie? They both are amazing and you can eat while helping others out in the process.
