Aaliyah One in a Million for Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another Thursday as that means we are closer to the weekend. My playlist this week had about 5 personal and regular mixtapes. Southern Smoke 15 and Street Wars 3 were amongst those played this week. Benny the Butcher and the new Nas album were bumped during the week. The new Fat Joe mixtape, What Would Big Do 2021 was downloaded and then it disappeared. It’s All On U Vol. 2 from BG also made it to the playlist. Once again, there are plenty to choose from as far as featured Throwback Thursday track. With the 25^th anniversary of Aaliyah’s One in a Million album on Friday, let’s start to celebrate on Thursday. The One in a Million album sold over 3 million copies in the United States and 8 million worldwide. Recently, this album finally made its way to streaming services for the fans to stream.

For my featured Throwback Thursday track, we are going with the track One in a Million. One in a Million was the third single from the album and it one of the better tracks. Timbaland laced her with a dope beat and Aaliyah knocked it out the park. One in a Million is probably my favorite Aaliyah album. It’s hard to believe that 20 years have passed since she passed away.
