Smoothe the Hustler Only Human for Throwback Thursday

Smoothe the Hustler Only Human for Throwback Thursday

Welcome to another Thursday as that mean we are closer to the weekend again. The first album to be played this week was the new joint from Rick Ross. Richer than I Ever Been was another dope project from Ross. We hit the south up once again for some bangers. The Burning Bridges EP from Ludacris and the Inspiration by Jeezy made the list. Chingy’s debut project, Jackpot also made the list for the week. J. Cole’s The Come Up and DAMN from Kendrick Lamar was also played. There were a couple other albums, but as you can see there’s plenty to choose from this week. For my featured Throwback Thursday track, we are going back to the 90s and New York hip hop. Many people never mention him, but he was nice with the flow and lyrics. Smoothe the Hustler is who I’m talking about, and he was nice.

In March of 1996, Smoothe the Hustler released his debut album Once Upon a time in America. While the album didn’t sell a lot of records or debut high on the charts it was nice. Smoothe the Hustler had plenty of standout tracks like Broken Language, Hustler’s Theme and My Brother My Ace to name a few. For me, one of my all-time favorite joints from then was Only Human. Only Human was one of my favorite joints back in the day and it’s my Throwback Thursday track. Listen to Only Human up above.
