We are now down to the Final Four in the NFL. In the Divisional Round, the top seeds took care of business after their bye week. Kansas City beat Jacksonville to advance to the AFC Championship game. In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles beat down the New York Giants to move on to the conference title game. In the first game on Sunday, Cincinnati went to Buffalo and dominated the Bills. In the weekend finale, the San Francisco 49ers beat Dallas in a defensive battle. Kansas City enters the game with home field advantage and winners of 11 of their last 12 games. Cincinnati haven’t lost a game in over two months. In the NFC, Philadelphia had the best record in the NFC for most of the year. San Francisco is the hottest team in the league as they enter the game on a 12-game winning streak.
We kick off the Conference Championship weekend in the NFC and in Philadelphia. The 49ers visit the Eagles in a battle between the 2 best teams in the NFC. San Francisco has weapons galore on offense. The defense is the best in the league throughout the entire season. On offense, Brock Purdy haven’t faced anything what he’ll be matched against in Philly. The Niners defense will have to deal with the running and passing attack of the Eagles. Can they advance to the Super Bowl? Philadelphia dealt with a lot of injuries and uncertainty for the last month. Jalen Hurts, Lane Johnson and Josh Sweat all have dealt with injures and Hurts and Johnson are still hurt. The defense leads the league in sacks with 70 and they will get after Purdy. This is a close one, but I’m taking Philly. Eagles Win 23-17
In the AFC, we have the Cincinnati Bengals head to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. Cincinnati put on a masterful clinic last week in Buffalo as they dominated the Bills. The running game picked up and Joe Burrow is as cool as it gets when it comes to quarterback play. The defense controlled the line of scrimmage the entire game and the secondary was amazing. Joe Burrow is 3-0 against Patrick Mahomes, will he make it 4-0? Kansas City is playing their 5th consecutive conference championship. They were defeated by the Bengals in the AFC Title game last year. Patrick Mahomes comes into this game with a high ankle sprain he suffered in the win over Jacksonville. This should be another great game, but with the Bengals being hot and Mahomes injured I’m going with Cincinnati. Bengals Win 26-24
