    Ja Rule hit the hip hop scene in the late 90s when he was featured on Jay-Z’s Hard Knock Life album. Can I Get A… was the single and it was a hot song in 1998. Ja Rule released his debut, Venni Vetti Vecci the following year. The album went debuted #1 and it eventually went platinum. After the success of the debut, Ja Rule dropped his second album the next year. Rule 3:36 was the name and it made Ja Rule a superstar and household.
