The Horror Show at Extreme Rules PPV Review

Welcome to the Horror Show at Extreme Rules PPV. If you’re a wrestling fan, this is a great weekend for us all. Unfortunately, I’m not spending $50 for a PPV despite hearing great things about Slammiversary. We had Braun Strowman defending the Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt in a Swamp match. Drew McIntyre put up his WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler. Bayley defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Nikki Cross. On Raw, Asuka put her Women’s title against Sasha Banks. The New Day defended their SmackDown tag titles against Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura. Apollo Crews was supposed to defend the new and improved United States title against MVP. It was…

    Daddy’s Hangout 2018 SummerSlam Review

The WWE has made Brooklyn its home for the weekend until Tuesday. Saturday night was another NXTTakeover event. SummerSlam has finally arrived and there were a few matches that intrigued me. Brock Lesnar defended the Universal title Against Roman Reigns. A.J. Styles put his WWE Title on the line against Samoa Joe. Dolph Ziggler battled Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Championship. Carmella put her SmackDown Women’s Title Against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Ronda Rousey tried for her first title in the WWE as she battled Alexa Bliss. Let’s see how things turned out. We started things off with the Intercontinental Championship with Dolph Ziggler defending against Seth Rollins. As…

Daddy’s Hangout Presents 2016 TLC PPV Review

Welcome to the final Smackdown Live PPV of the year, which is the 2016 TLC PPV? The Tables, Ladders & Chairs PPV features tables, ladder, chairs or just a TLC match. The main event will be A.J. Styles defending the WWE title against Dean Ambrose in a TLC match. We also got to see the Miz defend his Intercontinental title against Dolph Ziggler once again. Bray Wyatt will team with Randy Orton as he attempted to finally win championship gold against Heath Slater and Rhyno. Hopefully they can be on par or better than the Survivor Series, which took place last month. Let’s see how things turned out with the…

Daddy’s Hangout 2016 WWE No Mercy PPV Review

Welcome to the 2nd Smackdown Live only PPV, which is No Mercy? After the success of their first PPV Backlash, can Smackdown Live repeat the performance of that PPV? The big matches coming into No Mercy has to be the triple threat match and the Ziggler/Miz match. Let’s see how things went with the No Mercy PPV!! News broke earlier in the day about the main event being the first match. In the opener, A.J. Styles defended his championship against John Cena and Dean Ambrose. For Styles, it’s been about the Face that runs the place. Dean Ambrose is on a quest to regain the title from Styles, who beat…

Just like Monday Night Raw, this will be my last review for now. Let’s get started!! Good Randy Orton: Orton opened up Smackdown Live talking about Bray Wyatt and how he supposed to be scaring people. During the promo, Wyatt appeared on the TitanTron and cut a…

Daddy’s Hangout Summerslam 2016 PPV Review

Welcome to the Summerslam PPV, which had a total of 13 matches including the ones on the Kickoff Show. With a very successful NXTTakeover the previous night, let’s see how the main roster responds and hopefully continue to ride the wave of great wrestling. Since this is one of the big 4 PPVs, I was expecting a stellar PPV so let’s see how things turned out. The PPV kicked off with Enzo & Big Cass cutting a damn good promo to start everything off when they came down to a huge pop. Enzo quoted several Biggie Smalls line, while sprinkling in some Frank Sinatra and the crowd ate every bit…

Welcome to the 2nd week of Smackdown Live after the WWE Draft with it taking place in Nashville. After a very impressive edition of Smackdown Live last week, hopefully things continue to go that route seeing Summerslam is less than three weeks away. Since Randy Orton invaded Monday Night Raw to RKO Brock Lesnar, I’m sure that the Beast will look for some revenge on Orton. Let’s see what took place on Smackdown Live. Good Opening Segment: Smackdown kicked off with Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon in the back watching Orton deliver the RKO to Lesnar on Monday Night Raw. Shane told him he was impressed with what…

Monday Night Raw Review from Columbus, Ohio

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw with it taking place on the 4th of July in Columbus, OH. As soon as Monday Night Raw went live, you saw all the superstars eating some food and as soon as the Miz & Maryse started addressing the superstars it turned into a food fight. Last week was another good edition of Monday Night Raw and hopefully that trend continues as we make way to the Battleground PPV in less than three weeks. There really wasn’t too much in the world of wrestling that happened over the course of last week to report, so let’s get started. Good Rusev vs. Titus…

WWE Fastlane PPV 2016 Review from Cleveland

Welcome to the Fastlane PPV, which is the final PPV before WrestleMania? Coming into the PPV, there really weren’t any major rumors of anyone showing up or something major happening so this should be a straight forward PPV. Let’s see how things turned out!!   This match came about when Banks said she wanted to leave Team B.A.D and concentrate on her career and eventually was attacked by her former teammates, but Becky Lynch made the save. They have been feuding with each other ever since with Team B.A.D attacking both a couple of times. As far as the match, this was really good and the ladies busted their asses…

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw as they hail from ECW Country aka Philadelphia. After a pretty good TLC PPV the night before, let’s see how things play out on Monday Night Raw. If you saw the PPV the night before, we all were shocked seeing Roman Reigns beat the hell out of Triple H after he was screwed out of the championship again by the League of Nations. I apologize for not making a Monday Night Raw post last week, but I work night shift and didn’t get to watch it because it didn’t record. Let’s Get Started!! Good Opening Segment: Monday Night Raw opened with Stephanie…

Let’s see how things play out with the Hell in a Cell PPV behind us and we now head to the Survivor Series in Atlanta, which I’ll be attending on November 22nd, which marks the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker.
