Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Royal Rumble Review

The Road to WrestleMania began with the 2020 Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble is where the element of surprise is at an all-time high. Like other years, the 2020 Royal Rumble had its fair share of rumors coming into the event. Besides the men and women Rumble matches, we had a few other matches also. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defended his Universal title against Daniel Bryan in a Strap Match. Bayley put her Smackdown Women’s Championship on the line against Lacey Evans. Asuka tried to take away the Raw Women’s Championship from Becky Lynch. In a Falls Count Anywhere match, Roman Reigns took on King Corbin. A few weeks back,…

Early WWE 2020 Royal Rumble Predictions

It’s January, and for fans of professional wrestling, that means only one thing – it’s Royal Rumble month! For a lot of fans, the Rumble is a bigger event than WrestleMania. Historically it’s been a night full of thrills, spills, and excitement, and it allows us our first hint at what the WrestleMania card might look like when April arrives. In years gone by its already been obvious by this point what the major matches at WrestleMania are going to look like, but this time around we have literally no idea. Predicting the Royal Rumble winners is a bigger task than it used to be following on from the introduction…

Daddy’s Hangout Presents 2017 Royal Rumble Review

Welcome to the 29th anniversary of the Royal Rumble. This has always been one of my favorite WWE events because of the uncertainty of the Rumble match. This year is no different with big names like Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker and Goldberg being part of the Rumble match. There have been so many rumors about who may show up and possible debuts. After a really good NXTTakeover: San Antonio the previous night, the main roster will likely step their game up. We also have A.J. Styles defending the WWE title against John Cena. On the Raw side of things, Charlotte defended her title against Bayley. Last but not least, Roman…

WWE Royal Rumble 2016 PPV Review from Orlando

Welcome to the much anticipated, first PPV of 2016, the Royal Rumble. I’ll be honest; it’s been a very, very, very long time since I was anticipating a PPV like I was with the Royal Rumble with so many rumors being thrown around. We heard a little bit of everything from who’s going to be the surprise entrants, A.J Styles could be debuting, could the entire Bullet Club show up or could Finn Balor be a part of the Royal Rumble. If the actual Rumble match didn’t have me excited enough, the matches before the Rumble match figured to be pretty good also. Let’s see what I thought about this…

Monday Night Raw Review for 1/4/2016 from San Antonio

Welcome to the first edition of Monday Night Raw for 2016 as they hail from San Antonio, TX. I didn’t do a post for the past couple of editions of Monday Night Raw with one of them being the Slammy’s and the other one was last week, but my DirecTV went out because of the storm. With the exciting news about the possible signing of A.J. Styles, someone from my hometown and a few other stars from NJPW, let’s see how things fared on Monday Night Raw.   Good Opening Segment: Monday Night Raw started off with the music of Stephanie hitting, but was quickly interrupted by Roman Reigns. They…
