Daddy’s Hangout WWE Hell in A Cell PPV Review

Welcome to the Hell in a Cell PPV and my personal review. We had a pair of championship matches that took place last month at the Clash of Champions. We had Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against his cousin, Jey Uso. In the other championship rematch, Drew McIntyre put up the WWE title against Randy Orton. The SmackDown Women’s Championship was defended as Bayley battled her former best friend in Sasha Banks. Jeff Hardy battled the returning Elias after he came back to attack Hardy. In a battle for the Money in the Bank briefcase, Miz took on Otis. Let’s see how the Hell in a Cell PPV turned…

The Horror Show at Extreme Rules PPV Review

Welcome to the Horror Show at Extreme Rules PPV. If you’re a wrestling fan, this is a great weekend for us all. Unfortunately, I’m not spending $50 for a PPV despite hearing great things about Slammiversary. We had Braun Strowman defending the Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt in a Swamp match. Drew McIntyre put up his WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler. Bayley defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Nikki Cross. On Raw, Asuka put her Women’s title against Sasha Banks. The New Day defended their SmackDown tag titles against Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura. Apollo Crews was supposed to defend the new and improved United States title against MVP. It was…

Daddy’s Hangout Monday Night Raw Review from Cincinnati

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw with it taking place in Cincinnati, OH. This past Sunday, the Raw brand had their PPV, Clash of Champions which was pretty good. All the championships were on the line and Roman Reigns was the only one to dethrone the champion by becoming the new U.S. champ. Let’s see the fallout of the PPV and see what’s next for the superstars on Monday Night Raw. On another note, due to my hectic schedule this will be my final Monday Night Raw review for a while. From this point on, I’ll only be reviewing the PPVs. Let’s get started!! Good Roman Reigns vs.…

Daddy’s Hangout Clash of Champions Review

Welcome everyone to the Clash of Champions PPV, which features the stars of Monday Night Raw. For those of you who’s not familiar with Clash of Champions, are you really a wrestling fan? Okay, I’m just playing, but this used to be an old WCW TV special, just think about the 45 minute classic between Ric Flair and Sting back in 1988. Enough of the history, for this PPV all the champions on Raw had to defend their championships. Let’s get started with the review!!   The first match of the night had the 2-time WWE tag team champions faced Gallows & Anderson. The match started with Gallows & Anderson…

Daddy’s Hangout Monday Night Raw Review from Memphis

Welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw with it taking place in Memphis, TN. With Clash of Champions being this Sunday, hopefully we’ll get a good build towards to the PPV and maybe add a couple of matches in the process. The big news coming in this week has been the rumored return of Luke Harper and Paige to WWE programming, plus the cruiser weights debuting on this coming Raw after a really impressive Cruiser weight Classic. Last week was another pretty good Raw, but it could’ve been better. Let’s see how things turned out on Monday Night Raw from Memphis. Good Opening Segment: Monday Night Raw kicked off…

Daddy’s Hangout Summerslam 2016 PPV Review

Welcome to the Summerslam PPV, which had a total of 13 matches including the ones on the Kickoff Show. With a very successful NXTTakeover the previous night, let’s see how the main roster responds and hopefully continue to ride the wave of great wrestling. Since this is one of the big 4 PPVs, I was expecting a stellar PPV so let’s see how things turned out. The PPV kicked off with Enzo & Big Cass cutting a damn good promo to start everything off when they came down to a huge pop. Enzo quoted several Biggie Smalls line, while sprinkling in some Frank Sinatra and the crowd ate every bit…
