Daddy’s Hangout 2019 Royal Rumble Review

We are officially on the road to WrestleMania. Royal Rumble has been one of my favorite PPVs because the Rumble is cool and all the uncertainty around it. For the second year, we had the ladies having their very own Royal Rumble match. Finn Balor challenged Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. Daniel Bryan put up his WWE Championship against former champ, A.J. Styles. Ronda Rousey battled Sasha Banks for her Raw Women’s title. Daddy’s Hangout 2018 WWE TLC PPV Review

It’s hard to believe that it’s about to be the end of another year. In a little over 2 weeks, we’ll be celebrating 2019. With that, we have the final PPV of the year for the WWE. Honestly, there have been a lot said about the booking of the main roster for a long time. With the new deal for SmackDown Live on Fox starting in the Fall of 2019, things will be changing and hopefully for the best. The TLC PPV had about three or four matches I was looking forward to. Daniel Bryan defended the WWE Championship against former champ, A.J. Styles. Becky Lynch put up her SmackDown…

Daddys Hangout 2018 Survivor Series Review

Welcome to another weekend of great WWE action. On Saturday night, we had the NXTTakeover: War Games II, which my review was wiped out when my computer crashed. The event was another successful NXTTakeover event with plenty of action. With Daniel Bryan defeating A.J. Styles for the WWE title this past Tuesday on SmackDown Live, he’s facing Brock Lesnar. United States champ Shinsuke Nakamura did battle against Intercontinental champion Seth Rollins. The Women and Men did battle in traditional Survivor Series matches. With Becky Lynch being injured, she chose Charlotte Flair to take on Raw Women’s Champ, Ronda Rousey. 205 Live was represented with Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy took on…

Daddys Hangout 2018 Evolution PPV Review

Welcome to the first ever all-Women PPV, Evolution. This was amazing moment to have this PPV because the ladies have put on some of the best matches in the WWE over the last few years. Some people online and even ex-WWE talent think this is a result of them doing the Crown Jewel PPV. Whether it’s true or not, let’s not take away from this moment. Was the PPV perfect? Of course not, but let’s remember this is the first of hopefully many. Evolution saw three championships defended. Ronda Rousey put up her Raw Women’s Championship Against Nikki Bella. In a Last Standing Match, Charlotte Flair challenged her former best…

Daddy’s Hangout 2018 Money in the Bank PPV Review

It’s time for one of my favorite WWE PPVs and that’s Money In the Bank. Over the years, this PPV has produced some amazing moments. One of my favorite had to be C.M. Punk beating John Cena for the WWE title. For me, that’s one of those all-time great moments in WWE history. Unfortunately, Punk and the WWE isn’t on the best of terms. Enough of that, let’s jump right into the PPV. We had the men and women competing in the ladder match for the briefcase. A.J. Styles put the WWE title on the line against Shinsuke Nakamura once again. Pretty much all championships were defended except the United…

    Daddy’s Hangout WrestleMania 34 Review

After one of helluva night with NXTTakeover: New Orleans, the WWE was ready for their Super Bowl. WrestleMania 34 is finally here and with some great buildups, anticipation was through the roof. You had so many storylines that were intriguing headed into the granddaddy of them all. Will the Undertaker finally accept the challenge from John Cena? If you’re a wrestling fan, you know it’s the best time of the year. WrestleMania is among us and it’s one of the more stacked cards I’ve ever seen. When it comes to WrestleMania weekend, we get another NXTTakeover special. For the last few years, NXTTakeover is the highlight of the weekend.
