Listen to My Top 5 Albums from T.I.

Last week, we had the original King of the South in Scarface. T.I. have been calling himself the King of the South for quite a few years now. When he first started to call himself that, there were a lot of people taking excepting to it. Either way, over the years T.I. have earned that name with the great projects he’s released. T.I. been in the game for well over 15 years as he dropped his debut album in 2001. I’m Serious was his debut album and it was an instant southern classic. Because I’m Serious selling over 270,000 copies, T.I. was dropped from the label. In 2003, T.I. launched…

Mixtape Friday is the Best of Throwback Thursday for 2018

It’s hard to believe that we’re about to enter a new year. 2019 is right around the corner and now it’s time to gear up for more challenges as we head into another year. Before that, let’s find something to celebrate about. The first thing you need is some music and that’s what I’m here for. While scrolling on my site I couldn’t believe I haven’t done a Mixtape Friday in well over two years. This year I’m planning on doing one every week. My Throwback Thursday was poppin’ throughout the year and hopefully that’ll continue also. With this being the final weekend of 2018, why not bring back Mixtape…

Jermaine Dupri Celebrate 25 Years of So So Def

If you’re from Georgia, you know that a lot of great music coming from the peach state. If you follow hip hop, you probably associate Outkast as being the GOATs in the A. Later on, guys like Ludacris, T.I., Jeezy, Pastor Troy and Killer Mike took reins. After that, guys like Future, Gucci Mane, Waka Flacka Flame and 2 Chainz. The newer generation has the likes of Young Thug, Migos, Future, Lil Yachty, 21 Savage and Cyhi the Prynce. What many people don’t know is that Jermaine Dupri put Atlanta on the map before them. Back in the bass era where guys like Kilo Ali, Raheem the Dream, Freak Nasty…

All Falls Down from Kanye West for Throwback Thursday

Remember when Kanye West put out dope music? Nowadays, people know Kanye West for the wrong reasons besides being a talented artist and producer. I’ve never look at Kanye West as this genius some may see him as. Recently, he voiced his support for Donald Trump and claim that slavery was a choice. When I heard that statement, it pissed me off seeing that I’m someone that’s intrigued with history and how people were treated in the past. Enough of all that and let’s focus on my Throwback Thursday track featuring Kanye West. We’re going back to 2004 and the release of his classic, College Dropout album. The College Dropout…

Scarface Released The Fix 15 Years Ago Today

If you don’t know by now, Scarface is one of my favorite rappers of all-time. As a matter of fact, he’s my 3rd favorite right behind 2Pac and Nas, which says a lot. To me, Scarface has been consistent with his releases whether it’s solo or with the Geto Boys. His releases have spanned across 4 decades, which is amazing. 15 years ago today, Scarface released another classic with The Fix and it was well-received by the public & critics. Back in the day, it received a 5-mic rating from the Source Magazine, which was huge during that time. The album featured Jay-Z, Nas, Beanie Sigel, Faith Evans and WC…
