Daddy’s Hangout Week 5 College Football Predictions for 2014

Welcome to Week 5 of the college football season and last week I finished 3-1, which raised my record to 12-5 and my winning percentage jumps a little from 69.2% to 70.6%. This week there’s about 3 games that I will be trying to predict and hopefully I can maintain a 70% winning percentage. Last week I correctly predicted Florida State, Auburn and Alabama but I was wrong to think that West Virginia would upset Oklahoma. Let’s see how things will fare for me this week.     This is the Thursday night game between 2 top-15 teams from the Pac-12 conference when the 11th ranked UCLA Bruins…

If you’re a fan of college football, this weekend answered a lot of questions, but opened for more. My predictions saw me pick a total of 12 games and we had some really good ones. Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame took care of business to remain the top-3 teams in the college football playoff rankings. Michigan fell big time as their rival, Ohio State made a statement in the blowout win. Georgia dominated Georgia Tech and Oklahoma edged West Virginia as they head to their conference championship games. LSU lost to Texas A&M in a historic 7OT game and Washington State was manhandled by Washington. With all of this…

Who Else is Ready for Some Football?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hungry for Football for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.   How many people are as ready for football to start just like myself? It seems like it took forever for this season to roll around. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge basketball fan and always will be, but when it comes to football, you can say that I’m a fanatic. Try Roadie When Sending Game Day Items to Friends or Family

Back in March when everything shut down because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we didn’t know what the future held. During that time, we had all sports cancelled. Truth be told, we never knew how much we missed sports until it was taken away. Eventually, they all came back with the NBA, NHL and MLS playing in a bubble. College football and NFL are in the midst of their season with some players here and there testing positive for Covid-19. Despite all of that, I’m just happy to have football back even though there are limited to no fans allowed. During these times, we miss hanging out with friends watching the…

6 Ways Influencers Can Control and Market Products

This coming July will mark ten years that I’ve been blogging. I’ll be honest, those years have flown by and a lot has changed over the years. At the beginning, you had to have a strong presence on Facebook and that was about it. Twitter came along, then Pinterest and other platforms were starting to form. Instagram started to become popular and Vine came out of nowhere. My kids keep me on my feet as to what’s popular these days. Snapchat burst upon the scene and is still one of the top social media platforms for many influencers. Lately, TikTok is the latest and greatest in social media and has…

LSU Beat Clemson to Win 2020 National Championship

LSU beat Clemson to win 2020 National Championship 42-25 on Monday night. The win gives LSU their 4th title in the AP poll era. With the win, LSU becomes the fourth team to go 15-0 or better in major college football history. Joe Burrow walked away with the offensive MVP after another spectacular games. Burrow threw for 463 yards and accounted for all 6 TDs with five through the air and one on the ground. He also set a new FBS record with his 59th TD pass to put LSU up 35-25. Burrow would add one more TD pass to finish with 60 TD passes. With the win, LSU snapped…

Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Citrus Bowl Predictions

We have the 2020 Citrus Bowl between two of the most prestigious football programs in the country. The Michigan Wolverines will battle the Alabama Crimson Tide. We have Jim Harbaugh taking on the legendary Nick Saban. The Michigan versus Alabama can sell itself, but having Harbaugh going up against Saban is box office stuff. The Wolverines late season run had many people thinking they had a shot at Ohio State. After barely falling to Penn State, Michigan had a great month stretch run. They blew out Notre Dame the following week and proceeded to stomp out Indiana and Michigan State. How will Michigan fare against Alabama seeing their final game…

    Daddy’s Hangout 2019 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Predictions

Now that we have the first semifinal out of the way, let’s look at the other one. I’m predicting Clemson to leave the Fiesta Bowl with the win. Who will face Clemson for the national championship on January 13th? The top ranked LSU Tigers will face the 4th ranked Oklahoma Sooners. LSU has arguably been the best team in college football throughout the season. They are led by Heisman Trophy winning Joe Burrow. The Tigers offense is as potent as it gets seeing they can score at any time. As far as Oklahoma goes, they had a lot of help to snag that final playoff position. Georgia lost to this…

Daddy’s Hangout 2019 Fiesta Bowl Predictions

We finished the regular season with some pretty entertaining conference championship games. The first three spots in the college football playoffs were set, but the fourth was up for grabs. With LSU dominating Georgia and Utah getting blown out by Oregon it was wide-open. We all thought the Oklahoma and Baylor winner would have the inside track to that spot. With Oklahoma winning, they’re set to face LSU in the other semifinal game at the Peach Bowl. In the Fiesta Bowl, we get a must see game between the Clemson Tigers and Ohio State Buckeyes. Who will advance to the championship on January 13th?   The Ohio State Buckeyes have…

3 Potential Destinations for LeSean McCoy

With this being the first official Saturday of college football, the NFL is making a lot of news. We learned that Jadeveon Clowney have been dealt to the Seattle Seahawks. We also learned that future Hall-Of-Famer LeSean McCoy will be released by Buffalo. LeSean McCoy just turned 31-years-old last month and he’s coming off career lows in yards in 2018. Despite the career lows, LeSean McCoy should be on an NFL roster in 2019 because he has plenty left. LeSean McCoy is less than 400 yards from reaching 11,000 yards rushing. Let’s see if there’s any teams that could use the services of LeSean McCoy. Houston Texans The Texans have…
