Daddy’s Hangout Presents NFL Predictions for 15th Week

NFL

Welcome to the 15th week of the NFL season, this means that there are three games remaining in the regular season. Last week my record was 4-3, which makes my overall record 52-43. My overall winning percentage went from 54.5% up to 54.7%. With the playoffs inching closer, these games become more critical as some teams make the push to hopefully make it. On the other hand, we have a few teams fighting for positioning and others just want to end the season strong. With all of that, these final three weeks should really produce some good football. This week I’ll be predicting seven games with the hopes of improving my record and winning percentage. Let’s Get Started!!!

LA Rams NFL LogoSeattle Seahawks NFL logoWe head to the NFC West for the Thursday night game as Seattle host the Los Angeles Rams. The Los Angeles Rams organization seems to have quite a few problems on its hands now. It started after their game against the Falcons when it seems like the team didn’t even try. Afterwards, Coach Jeff Fisher was fired despite signing an extension this off-season. Now they must travel to Seattle during a short week to face a Seahawks team that was just manhandled. Speaking of the Seahawks, they played one of their worse games in recent memory in Green Bay. Neither the offense or defense played well, but at least they face a Rams team with so many issues. The Rams have played the Seahawks well in the past, but I think Seattle blows them out this time.

Seattle Win 35-17

Miami Dolphins Helmet logoNew York Jets logo NFLThis weekend we have a Saturday night game as the New York Jets host the Miami Dolphins. The Jets finally snapped their four game losing streak Sunday, but it was against the 49ers. They really don’t have anything to play for, but would love to spoil Miami’s playoff hopes. New York come into this game banged up, but Bryce Petty showed the organization that he wants to be considered as a QB of the future last week. The Miami Dolphins would be in the playoffs if they started today as they’re tied with Denver for the Wild Card lead. The injury to QB Ryan Tannehill comes at a bad time as he’s slated to miss a considerable amount of time. In the end, I think Jets will upset the Dolphins in this one.

New York Win 22-17

Tennessee Titans NFL logoKansas City Chiefs NFL logoThis match-up has major playoff implications in the AFC. The young, upstart Tennessee Titans head to Kansas City and face the Chiefs. Tennessee shocked just about everyone last week when they defeated Denver. The Titans have won two games in a row and they’re currently tied with the Texans atop of the AFC South division. Can the Titans pull off another huge upset with it being Kansas City? Kansas City is in a midst of a three game winning streak, also they’ve won eight of their last nine games. After beating Oakland last week, they sit on top of the AFC West division and a game behind the Patriots for the best record in the AFC. This should be a really good game and I think the Chiefs continue to roll with another win.

Kansas City Win 26-21

Detroit Lions helmet logo NFLNew York Giants Logo NFLWe have another game with playoff implications, but this time it’s in the NFC. The NFC North leading Detroit Lions face the New York Giants as they both have 9-4 records coming into this game. The Lions have won five games in a row and currently lead the Packers and Vikings by two games with three games to play. The big question coming into this game is how will Matthew Stafford deal with his finger injury? The New York Giants are coming off an impressive defensive performance against the Cowboys last week. New York currently holds the Wild Card league, but they’re hoping for some help with the hopes of catching Dallas for the division lead. I think the Giants put up another impressive performance and beat the Lions.

New York Win 23-13

New England Patriots logoDenver Broncos logo NFLWe have a match-up that we all circle on the calendar every season it seems. The New England Patriots will travel to Denver and face the Broncos with the season on the line for Denver. New England is coming off an impressive performance on Monday night against another tough defense in Baltimore. Tom Brady and the Patriots lost to this Broncos team in the playoffs last year in Mile High, can Denver repeat that performance? This week, the Denver offense must put up some points if they think they have a shot against New England. After scoring 10 points last week against the Titans, they will need to come to play this week. This is a tough one for me, but I think the Broncos pull off the huge upset and keep their playoff hopes alive.

Denver Win 24-23

Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL logo NFLDallas Cowboys Star Logo NFLWe have the Sunday night game, which is a huge one in the NFC. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers bring their five game winning streak to Dallas to play the Cowboys. The Buccaneers is currently tied with the Falcons atop of the NFC South, but Atlanta owns the tiebreaker. It seems like a tale of two different halves of the season on defense for Tampa Bay as they have developed a great one. Can they stop the Cowboys offense? Dallas is coming off a tough loss at home last week against the Giants, how will they respond? Can the Dallas offense pick back up where they left off? If Dak struggles in this game, will the Cowboys call on Tony Romo? I don’t think it’ll get to that because I think Dallas will beat Tampa Bay.

Dallas Win 28-17

WashingtonRedskins NFL logoWe have the final game of the week, which is the Monday night game. The Carolina Panthers visit the Washington Redskins and their former teammate in Josh Norman. Carolina is out of the playoff hunt, but they can play spoiler against Washington. It seems like the Panthers return to last year’s form; and then back to reality. Can Carolina upset the Redskins in Washington on Monday? The Redskins have one of the most explosive offenses in the league this year, can they continue that trend? Washington is tied in the loss column with Tampa Bay for the final playoff spot, but they have that tie that’s holding them back. I think Washington will beat Carolina on Monday.

Washington Win 34-24
