The Game Dreams from his The Documentary Album

The Game Dreams

First off, let me say Rest in Peace to the father of The Game. Before I introduce my Throwback Thursday track, my reasons for featuring the Game is because I think he’s a dope MC. Despite all the controversy, you’re not going to find too many artists as consistent as he’s been since he signed with Aftermath/G-Unit. With that being said, I’m announcing that I’m working on a personal Game Greatest Hits Compilation that should be around a 4-Disc set kind of like the UGK set. The Game has been working on what he’s calling his final album, Westside Story. Being a huge fan of his, I have nothing but lofty expectations for the album as he’s never disappointed me for the most part. The featured track is from his debut album, The Documentary and it’s the Kanye West produced track, Dreams. Check out the video for the track below!

As far as the track, Dreams this is part of his classic album, The Documentary. I’ve stated so many times that I believe that this album is one of the best hip hop albums ever. The Documentary is one of those albums that you can listen from the beginning to the end. Dreams is definitely one of the stand out tracks on the album that first caught my attention. First of all, Kanye West brought the heat with the production and the Game killed the track with the lyrics. The video is as graphic as it gets with him talking about when he got shot and robbed.

What is your opinion about the Game? What’s your favorite album from him? What’s your favorite track off the Documentary album? What’s your expectations about his final, upcoming album, Westside Story? Head to the comment section below and give me some honest feedback about the Game.
