Bulls End Hawks 2 Game Win Streak

Bulls End Hawks 2 Game Win Streak

After winning their two previous games, Atlanta fell to Chicago on Saturday night. In a sloppy game that saw both teams turn the ball over several times, Zach Levine finally took over. Levine was one of five Bulls that scored in double figures. Levine finished with 27 points and 11 rebounds as he continues his great start to the season. Both teams couldn’t hit nothing through stretches that saw them hurl 3s left and right. Dewayne Dedmon provided a spark for the Hawks as this was his first game after missing the first four with an injury. Dedmon was everywhere as he finished with 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks in 26 minutes. Taurean Prince lead the Hawks in scoring with 16 points. Trey Young chipped in 13 as he had an off night and didn’t hit a 3-pointer. Vince Carter also had 12 points, which all came on 3-pointers. The loss drops the Hawks record to 2-3. Next up, Atlanta travels to Philadelphia to face the 76ers on Monday night.

The Hawks face one of the Eastern Conference best teams in the Sixers. Philadelphia is coming off a tough win over the Charlotte Hornets. Atlanta will have a tough time containing Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and the rest of those guys. This will be one of the many learning experiences for this young Hawks team.
