E40 has been in the game for over 30 years now. Over the years, E40 has put out an unprecedented 25 studio albums. On this day 25 years ago, E40 put out his second album, In a Major Way. In a Major Way is actually the only album to go platinum. In a Major Way featured 2Pac, Celly Cel, Mac Mall, Spice 1, The Click and Mac Shawn. After the success of his debut album, Federal E40 signed with Jive Records. E40 has also had his own label, Sick Wit It Records also. Forty Water is known for his crafty and slick language on the mic. The first single from the album was called 1-Luv. 1-Luv was a dope track and helped In a Major Way sell over 70,000 copies the first week.
On the day the album dropped, E40 released his second single from the album. Dusted N Disgusted was a posse featuring 2Pac, Celly Cel and Mac Mall. During this time of the release of the video, 2Pac was locked up. 2Pac was replaced by Celly Cel in this version. Richie Rich makes a cameo appearance and says a few words in the early part of the video and is seen wearing a T-shirt that clearly reads: “Free 2Pac”. While Dusted N Disgusted featured some great west coast spitters, the final single is what 40 a worldwide name. Sprinkle Me was the final single off from the album and it was released in May of 1995.
