Daddy’s Hangout 2020 Week 11 NFL Predictions

Welcome to Week 11 of the NFL season and the Covid-19 positive tests continue to dominate the league as we’re experiencing another wave. Last week was another couple of steps back as my record was 2-3. My overall mark is now 53-28 and my winning percentage dipped from 67.1 to 65.4%. The Colts beating Tennessee last Thursday convincingly was my first defeat. The Murray Magic in Arizona as they defeated Buffalo on the Hail Mary where DeAndre Hopkins caught the ball over three defenders. On Monday Night, the Bears offense continued to struggle as they fell to Minnesota. Those were my three defeats and hopefully things will get turned around. This week I’ll be predicting another six games with the hopes of rebounding from my losing record a week ago.

As always, we kick things off with the Thursday night game and this should be a good one. We have a rematch of a Sunday night game less than a month ago between two NFC West rivals. The Arizona Cardinals travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks in a rematch of their classic from a few weeks back. These two teams are tied atop of the NFC West along with the Rams with 6-3 records. The Cardinals are playing great as they have won 4 of their last 5 games. On the other hand, Seattle is headed in the opposite direction. After starting 5-0, the Seahawks have dropped 3 of their last 4 games. Russell Wilson is all of a sudden turning the ball over, which isn’t like him. This should be another tough game, but I’m picking the Seahawks to edge the Cardinals. Seattle Win 31-28

We have a battle between two longtime rivals out of the NFC South. The Atlanta Falcons travel to Louisiana to face the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons are coming off their bye week and have won three of their last four games. Atlanta opened the season 0-5, which resulted in the firing of Dan Quinn. Atlanta will face New Orleans and Tampa Bay twice and also go on the road to face Kansas City. New Orleans was dealt a bad blow as they have lost Drew Brees for a few weeks. Brees has cracked ribs on both sides to go along with a punctured lung. Taysom Hill and Jameis Winston will try to lead this high powered offense during that time. The Saints defense will be the one that guides them to victory against the Falcons. New Orleans Win 30-20

We head to the AFC as we have a battle between two teams that really need the win. The Tennessee Titans head to Baltimore to face the Ravens. Last year, Tennessee beat Baltimore on their way to the AFC title game. Tennessee is tied with Indianapolis atop of the AFC South, but the Colts hold the tiebreaker after defeating the Titans. Tennessee has lost three of four games after their 5-0 start to the season. Can they turn things around against Baltimore? The Ravens lost to New England on Sunday Night and that put them 3 games behind the Steelers. Baltimore has lost two of their last three games and can’t afford to drop anymore. Could the Titans dominate the Ravens like they did last year in the playoffs? I’m thinking the Ravens will edge the Titans in this one. Baltimore Win 24-20

We have an AFC vs. NFC matchup between two of the better teams from their respective conferences. The Green Bay Packers head down to Indianapolis to battle the Colts. The Packers struggled on offense against the 1-win Jaguars last week. They will receive help after Allen Lazard will be activated for this showdown. The Packers will need to bring their A-game against this feisty Colts defense. Can the Packers pull off the huge win on the road against Indy? Indianapolis rebounded after their loss to Baltimore by beating the Titans to take over the lead in the AFC South. The Colts defense frustrated the Titans the entire game. Can they do that against the great Aaron Rodgers and the Packers? This should be one of the better games on the schedule this week. I’m picking to Packers to barely edge the Colts. Green Bay Win 27-24

We have the Sunday Night game pitting two AFC West rivals against each other. The Kansas City Chiefs travel to Las Vegas with the hopes of avenging their only loss against the Raiders. The Chiefs are viewed as the favorite to reach and repeat as Super Bowl champions. Kansas City will be seeking revenge after suffering their only loss of the year and it was at home. Did the Raiders get lucky or do they have the formula to beat the Chiefs? Las Vegas are in the midst of a 3-game winning streak after beating blown out by Tampa Bay. The Raiders offense has looked great and the defense is continuing to improve. Can the Raiders sweep the season series from Kansas City? Will the Chiefs avenge their loss against the Raiders? I’m picking the Chiefs to win. Kansas City Win 31-21

Last, but not least we have the Monday Night game between two of the better teams in the NFC. The Los Angeles Rams will make the cross country trip to Tampa to battle the Buccaneers. The Rams enter this game 6-3 and tie atop of the NFC West along with Arizona and Seattle. Los Angeles is coming off a very impressive win against Seattle at home where the defense frustrated Russell Wilson the entire game. Can they do the same against Tom Brady? Tampa Bay redeemed themselves after losing to New Orleans again by decimated the Panthers. How will the Buccaneers offense react against this tough Rams defense? Can Jared Goff withstand the Bucs defense? This should be a good one and I’m picking the Bucs. Tampa Bay Win 34-24
