Pastor Troy Face Off Released 20 Years Ago Today

If you’re from the south, fan of hip hop or from Georgia then you know all about Pastor Troy. Pastor Troy has been putting out music since 1999. Many people know of him because his beef with Master P and No Limit Records. 20 years ago today, Pastor Troy released his fourth album, Face Off. Face Off put Troy on the map as it was his first joint with a major label. Troy signed with Universal Records so now he started getting some publicity. Before the album was released, No Mo Play in GA was heard on so many mixtapes during that time. We all know that track was directed at Master P and it was a crazy club banger also. The first single for Face Off was This Tha City. This Tha City was a dope track and another banger from Troy.

Vica Versa was the second single released off of Face Off. Vica Versa is probably my favorite track ever from Pastor Troy and that says a lot. Overall, this is probably my favorite Pastor troy album and it’s hard to believe its 20 years old.
