Daddy’s Hangout 2021 Week 11 NFL Predictions

Embarrassment, ashamed and ridiculous is how you can describe my Week 10 showing. My record was 2-4 and that dropped my overall mark to 46-34. My winning percentage went from 59.5 down to 57.5%. Welcome to Week 11 of the 2021 NFL season and there is hope with a new week. Once again, upsets were the topic of discussion this past week. Last Thursday night, the Miami Dolphins upset the Ravens by smothering the Baltimore offense. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions game ended in a tie where it seemed like neither team wanted to win. Green Bay blanked the Seahawks and Cam Newton returned to Carolina by scoring 2 TDs in their win in Arizona. Kansas City looked like themselves against Las Vegas once again as Patrick Mahomes tossed 5 TDs. This week I’ll be predicting another seven games with the hopes of having positive results.

We kick things off in Atlanta with the Thursday Night game. The New England Patriots will travel down to face the Falcons. The Patriots come into this game on a 4-game winning streak. During that streak, the defense is giving up 12.5 points a game. They are coming off a 45-7 win over the Browns. Can the Patriots make it 5 wins in a row? Atlanta would like to forget their last game as they were beat 43-3 by Dallas. The Falcons are currently in last place in the NFC South. The good part is that they’re only 2 losses behind the division leading Bucs in the loss column. The Atlanta crowd should be loud on Thursday and the Falcons will want to avenge their blowout loss from a week ago. I’m picking the Patriots to leave with the win. New England Win 31-24

We head to Buffalo as the Bills will host the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts have won four of their last five games. Indianapolis finds themselves in the thick of the playoff race. They are a game behind the Los Angeles Chargers for the final Wild Card spot. Are the Colts a team on the rise or was it the light schedule that spawned the streak? Three of their wins during the streak came against the Jets, Texans, and Jaguars. At the beginning of the season, we looked at Josh Allen as the MVP frontrunner. Allen haven’t put up those crazy stats like from a year ago, but the Bills are still cruising. The Bills will need to work on getting off to those slow starts. In the end, I’m picking the Bills to leave with the win. Buffalo Win 34-24

We have an NFC North matchup between the top two teams in the division. The Green Bay Packers head to Minnesota to battle the Vikings. The Packers are coming off an impressive, defensive effort in their shutout of the Seahawks. We already know that the Packers have one of the better offenses in the league. The defense has given up a total of 7 points in their last two games and they were against Kansas City and Seattle. Minnesota is a tricky team because one week they look great, and the following is much different. The Vikings ended their two game losing streak after an impressive win in Los Angeles against the Chargers. How will Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook play against this tough Packers defense? This should be a good one, but I’m picking the Vikings in an upset. Minnesota Win 24-23

We head back to the AFC as we have a battle between two teams that’s tied for the final Wild Card spot. The Cincinnati Bengals will head to Las Vegas to meet the Raiders. Cincinnati is coming off their bye week with the hopes of getting their swag back. They dropped two in a row and went from first to third place in the division. The first loss came to the Jets after blowing out Baltimore and they were blown out by the Browns next. Las Vegas is also on a two game losing streak. They had an embarrassing loss against the Giants and the Chiefs blew them out last Sunday Night. Both of these teams need wins as we get deeper into the season. I’m going with the home team to leave victorious. Las Vegas Win 27-24

We have one of the more anticipated games of the week with this one. The Dallas Cowboys will travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs. We have a battle between two of the best young QBs in the league. Dallas rebounded from their loss to Denver by annihilating the Atlanta Falcons. Dallas will get to see how good the defense is as they face a rejuvenated Kansas City Chiefs offense. Are the Kansas City Chiefs back? They played their best overall game last week in the win over Las Vegas. Patrick Mahomes threw for 5 TDs and the defense looked as good as ever. The acquisition of Melvin Ingram opens up so many things for the defense. Can they continue that trend against an offense like the Cowboys? I’m picking the Chiefs to beat Dallas in a good one. Kansas City Win 34-31

We have the Sunday Night game between two teams that could see each other in the playoffs. The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel out west to face the Los Angeles Chargers. With Big Ben on the Covid list, the Steelers will probably turn to Mason Rudolph. Last week, the Steelers had their four winning streak come to an end with a tie with Detroit. Pittsburgh is tied with the Ravens in the loss column for division lead, but the tie could eventually hurt them. The Chargers have stumbled a bit as they have dropped three of four games. The team announced that Joey Bosa has been placed on the Covid list and could miss this game. The Chargers are tied with the Chiefs and Raiders in the loss column and need this one. I’m picking them to win. Los Angeles Win 20-17

We have the Monday Night game as the New York Giants travel south to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Giants are coming off an impressive win over the Raiders prior to their bye week. New York has won two of their last games and almost upset the Chiefs during that span. Saquan Barkley practiced for the first time in a month so that’s some good news for the Giants. Can they pull off the upset against the Bucs? The Tampa Bay Buccaneers come into this game on a 2-game losing streak. The Bucs have been banged up and the defense have regressed. Tampa was without Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin and Gronk in their loss against Washington. Brady had his worst game of the season and will look to rebound from it. The Bucs should walk away with the win. Tampa Bay Win 34-20
